I’ve used retinol for years, and this is one of the best formulas I’ve found for getting results without the irritation. The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave behind a greasy film. It layers beautifully under moisturizer without pilling, which isn’t always the case with retinol products. What I love most is that it comes in different strengths, making it easy to choose the right level for your skin or gradually work your way up over time. Even as a veteran retinol user, I appreciate that this formula is effective while still being gentle. I hardly ever experience peeling, excessive dryness, or irritation, and my skin doesn’t feel overly dry the next morning. I also appreciate that there is no fragrance to it as I do tend to be sensitive to strong scents. With consistent use, I’ve noticed improvements in my skin’s texture, smoothness, and the appearance of fine lines. My overall skin tone feels brighter. It’s gentle enough that you actually stick with it, which is one of the most important factors when using retinol because results come from consistency. I also think it’s a great option for people who have struggled with irritation from stronger retinol products in the past. The pump packaging works well and dispenses the right amount each time without any issues. While it’s not the least expensive retinol on the market, I think the gentle formula, multiple strength options, and consistent results make it worth the investment. Overall, this has become a staple in my skincare routine. Based on my experience so far, i would purchase this again.

Visible Results Without the Irritation This is hands down the best Vitamin A product I’ve used. Medik8 Crystal Retinal 10 delivers smoother, brighter skin with noticeably fewer fine lines—without the dryness or flaking I’ve had with other retinoids. It absorbs quickly, feels luxurious, and the results are real. If you’ve built up tolerance to retinol and want something more powerful yet gentle, this is 100% worth it.

Crystal Retinal is a great product but, the container is bad and the color is horrible. The packaging/tube and color drag my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. The product is wonderful, definitely 5 stars. It does seem to ease lines on my face. The container/tube is very wasteful, please see the photo. The photo was taken after I could not squeeze another drop out of the tube. I cut it open; you can there is a LARGE amount of product stuck in the tube. Over a week’s worth of product is left in the tube, to be thrown away. It’s too expensive to throw away, so I keep it in a Ziploc bag and continue to apply it every night. I know Retinal degrades when exposed to air, so I know the product is becoming less effective every time I open the Ziploc. But I can’t bring myself to throw away that much product. The containers for the R-Retinoate products are MUCH better. None of the product is wasted. If they would use that packaging for Crystal Retinal, their customers would be grateful. The color is terrible. Every higher number product (Crystal Retinal 6, Crystal Retinal 10, Crystal Retinal 20, etc.) increases the product color in darkness and saturation. I now use Crystal Retinal 24, which is the darkest color. I look like I’m wearing a Halloween mask, it’s very unattractive. Some of us live with a romantic partner and don’t want to go to bed every night looking like we are wearing an orange mask. I see Red 4 is an ingredient so, I assume the color is added, not intrinsic to the product. If they remove the added color, or provide an alternate product with no color added, their customers would be grateful. If they used same container they use for R-Retinoate and remove the dark color, Crystal Retinal would be the perfect product.

I am so in love with this products. It makes my skin feel so soft. The appearance of my fine lines and my overall skin tone have greatly improved since I began using this months ago.

I usually use the crystal retinal 20 at night and bought this while I wait for my 20 to come in. It's still amazing and my skin loves it. Thank you Medik8! Try it with the C tetra luxe in the morning, as a routine. you won't regret it!

It shows this full tube then you get it and I mean it's almost completely empty
