Having caught the travelling bug well and proper, I loved finding this gem of a travel guide. It will be very good to plan various destinations that are must see. Even without all the brilliant snippets of information it is an excellent coffee table book and a joy to sit with and plough through.

Bought for parents who are wanting to travel, found the book very useful and full of information/tips!

Very helpful giving a view on popular holidays all over the world and particularly helpful is the reference to when to go.

Really amazing book, got it as a gift for a friend who's about to take a year traveling the world. I skimmed through it and it's got a great layout and design and info is quite accurate considering the places I know and thought very interesting for the places I hadn't been to. Great images as well and how the whole book is structured. Recommended!

I ordered this as I already have the original and absolutely love it; I can say this second edition is just as brilliant. Yes, this makes a lovely ‘coffee table book’; an interesting read to pick up and flick through for sure. But this is actually much more than that: it truly is an accurate and all encompassing reference book on travel. I genuinely use this (and the first edition) to find our next holidays, especially when you need to base your travel destinations on what time of year you can take time off from work. Highly recommend.

Bought this as a gift and it's a bit of good fun. Has some unique places to go that I wouldn't have thought of and I like the design that it tells you WHEN to go. Of course it's not an all encompassing book but some great inspiration.
