Henna Gold Highlighting Conditioner (12 oz) | Hydrating Hair Brightener Enhances Natural Color Highlights | Add Moisture & Shine to Dull Hair

I'm really quite puzzled by the negative reviews for this product. This is actually the first conditioner (which I use in combination with the Henna Gold shampoo) that has well and truly transformed my hair. I've tried loads of natural and not-so-natural brands promising shine and restoration with no luck. Prior to using Henna Gold, my hair was over-processed from hair color, dull, dry and falling out in worrying amounts. I've been using both the shampoo and conditioner for about three months and taking vitamin supplements (iron and biotin) and there has been a marked improvement. It provides incredible shine, greater strength and snap and it has even made my wavy hair a lot more manageable and a little straighter, all while I am still coloring my hair. The shampoo sudsed very well. The condition is rather creamy in consistency and not thick and waxy. I prefer a thinner conditioner because it rinses out easier and I can get out of the bottle without cramping my hand trying to squeeze it out. It has a fresh sort of clipped grassy smell. The product does not alter hair color in any way. To be sure, each will react to a product differently, but I am extremely pleased with the product and the results. I recommend rinsing the conditioner out with coolish water and then working a tiny dab through the towel dried hair before combing out.

I have been using this shampoo for over a decade. My hair is a mix of light brown and silver and the henna in this shampoo really evens out the color and leaves my hair shiny.

I have medium length blond hair - damaged mostly on the ends from years of blow drying, swimming in chlorine pools, etc. I have tried so many conditioning products - Aveda, Pureology, you name it but this one is incredible. I have always used Shikai shampoo but never tried the conditioner and this Henna Gold is unbelievable - after ONE application - conditioner applied after shampoo in the shower - my hair has been completely transformed. It is smooth, shiny, sort of glowing. I really can't believe it. I hope it keeps going like this!

This is a nice shampoo. No chemical smell and rinses easily. I haven't noticed any difference in highlights, but I've only used it for a couple of weeks.

I love this stuff. I even turned my mother-in-law onto it. It is fabulous for my accidentally bleached but keeping the color hair. The scent is subtle. Natural ingredients are a plus.

it was nice having a shampoo that actually cleans my hair again without stripping it. The salon scent isn't perfect but I wouldn't change it. The one and only reason I purchased this product for 20 years is because it doesn't burn my scalp as much as other brands. The burn doesn't last. It's perfect as is. Once anyone changes it, this review will become void. I'm allergic to too many scents and chemicals and waters for any change in ingredients.

Does give a tinge to hair, made mine more blonde rather than red, but nice if you're going fir a sun-kissed blonde look for summer

I do not often leave reviews, because sometimes I dont want to criticize a pruduct based on my biased review. However I ordered this conditioner to add body and shine to very thin 63 yr old hair. I absolutely love everything about this conditioner. I have more volume, a little more shine and it worked fabulous for me. Will definitely reorder and purchase the shampoo as well. Thank you!
