How can I keep illumination on all the time?

Check wire connection. Red to plus 12 volts. Black to negative 12 volts Looking at front of switch up pointing up Left side from top down Black Blue Black Green Right side only 3 terminals Green Red Blue Hope this helps.

Is there a wiring diagram for this? This device has 7 terminals. The switch I'm replacing has 6.

Will this work in a marine application to replace a manual/auto livewell switch in boat? My current switch has 8 pins.

I don’t think so. It would work for your application if it wasn’t momentary. Meaning when you push it up or down it goes back to the “off“ or middle position as soon as you let your finger go. Find one that isn’t momentary. # of pins shouldn’t matter as long as it’s a reverse polarity 3 way rocker switch that’s not momentary.

No wiring diagram included

It didn’t come with s wiring diagram like it says on the package content. I have to look for a different brand of the same exact type and found it. It works like it says and lights up when button pushed. I’m using a 20v battery and it looks like it can handle the amperage and voltage.
