Review: Great for summer review - I got this for my seven year old to practice over summer break. Reading isn't his favorite thing in the world, but every time we did this workbook, he not only did the page, but wanted to tell me all the minecraft concepts that the workbook reminded him of. So he was learning and we had some good conversations about minecraft. I also got dinosaur stickers so when he finished a page, he could add a sticker to it for finishing. Review: Helpful - These workbooks have helped my kids so much with homeschool lessons. Itโs greatly improved their focus since Minecraft interests them.

Awesome for kids who love minecraft
Awesome for kids who won't talk about anything else. Also got the Reading Success for grades 3-4 book, which is interesting to see what he WILL be learning and it also has more fantasy stories in it, and can build vocab. The grades 1-2 has a little too much explanatory text i.e. what is a creeper etc. Most kids who are obsessed know most of the facts, but that's OK, it makes the "text comprehension" questions on an easier level for those who struggle - and there has definitely been a fact or two he has learned (and we are only part way through. I prefer the reading success books to the math books...but probably because my son needs more help with reading. I'm sure the math ones good for kids who need catching up with math...ALL awesome tho. Thanks for producing these!

I know I got this used but it said like new.
This is not like new. The book is good tho. Pros about the book lots of pages 57, Itโs cute Itโs funny My children 4,6, and 8 really like it. Cons : It says first and second grade. But itโs definitely not for a home school private school second grader. Or a 1st grader. It would be good for my 4 year old. Amazon warehouse : Pros got it cheaper Cons I received a book from Amazon pretty much done.

Great learning tool, holds 6 year olds attention
I was hesitant to buy this at first because I wasnโt sure if it would be more of a distraction than a learning tool. But this book has been amazing. It hold my sons attention as well as helping him solidify his foundation. The progress the books makes is really good, starts basic and progressively focuses on retaining knowledge and comprehension. I have already purchased the writing version and canโt wait to start with my 6 year old.

Great for getting your child to read
My son loves this book. He took an interest in reading and doing the activities. I would recommend for kids that struggle with learning to read due to lack of interest.

Minecraaft reading
I truly liked this book and felt it would be perfect for the young reader in my life. He was enthusiastic for the first few pages and then totally lost interest. Since he is such a huge Minecraft fan I was surprised. I don't feel that it is not any fault of the book that I gave it 4 stars, it was an unwilling child. who did not want to read, period.
