I saw a good deal on this thing on Black Friday that I just couldn't resist. It took about two weeks for delivery and I have have been using it every day since. Putting this thing together was quite easy, because it comes with all of the tools that you need. I would say it took me about 45 min. total. The company recommends that you use (6) olympic 45 lbs. plates (total of 270 lbs.) to weigh down the sled, as a means to prevent skidding and to prevent the side that you are pushing on from lifting up off of the ground. I have had approximately 500 lbs. on it and it still moves very smoothly. Compared to a prowler type sled, the Tank is much easier to get started, but it never gets easier as you build momentum. It is very similar to pushing a small car. This thing is ideal for use in my driveway, where I can do a straight run down and back. Once loaded up with weight it is impossible to turn, so having handles on both sides is perfect. This piece was quite expensive (even with the deal I got) but it is solid. I can see this being a staple in my training for years to come. I look forward to experimenting with it and I have no doubt that this thing will enhance my workouts and overall level of fitness.***My new favorite exercise is doing hand over hand pulls, by attaching a 50ft. battle rope to this thing...amazing!***

Smartest Most Efficient Sled Design
Likes - all surfaces, variable resistance, pneumatic wheels, fit & finish, low noiseDislikes - for the price, Not including the accessory harness for pulling is poor. Does not I nclude a laminated copy of the training sheet (have to print off line). Takes up space when not in use, too heavy to hang on a hookOverall - unless you have a dedicated turf area, why put up with noisy metal on concrete/pavement and needing to replace worn out skids? Spend the money once on a sled that’ll last you a lifetime and not depreciate.

Not practical.
A wheelbarrow would be about $1300.00 cheaper.
