This stuff works almost immediately and it really does put a stop to those stomach annoyances sometimes even for a couple of days! My IBS days can be so random, sometimes I'll go days without much issues and others I can't even finish my dinner without having to sprint to the bathroom! It's a real nightmare and it makes eating out pretty much impossible. However, that all changed when I started using these! They don't have a taste, maybe a tiny bit salty? But what people are saying about it being "thick" and "impossible to swallow, they just need to follow it with a drink and it's not a problem! I'm very much a texture guy and I don't have any problems getting these down me. The worst part about them is that it totally coats your mouth and it IS thick, but a couple swigs of water and you're golden, you'll forget you even had it! Seriously don't let the texture put you off the incredible effectiveness of this product.

Works fantastic for me everytime I have a IBS flare or diarrhoea but only problem after recent blood test they have noticed I am slightly malnourished due to food and medication not being properly absorbed. So be advised if your on medication and food general.

Occasionally, due to illness, overindulgence, dodgy food or stress, I get stomach issues. I used to take Pepto Bismol, but that is quite difficult to get hold of in the UK. These little sachets are a great replacement and perfect for settling and calming a gripey stomach. They have been invaluable when travelling and have allowed me to attend work or social functions without spending the whole time in the bathroom! The main disadvantage of this medicine is that it doesn't taste very nice but at least it does not contain artificial sweeteners or flavourings. Overall, this Silicogel has helped me on many occasions and I always keep a few sachets in my wash bag for emergencies.

For those initial 10 days, it truly was the best thing ever, providing much-needed relief. However, after about 10 days, the effectiveness seemed to taper off. It didn’t continue to improve my symptoms as much as I had hoped, so I realized it wasn’t going to be a long-term solution for me. Since then, I’ve switched to drinking electrolytes every morning, which has made a huge difference. This routine has helped me tremendously with managing stomach pains and bloating on a daily basis. For the occasional flare-up, I now turn to Silicolgel, which has been a reliable and effective remedy. It consistently helps when I do experience bloating, though it is a bit on the expensive side. Overall, while the initial medication provided short-term relief, I’ve found a combination of electrolytes and Silicolgel to be more sustainable and effective in the long run.

Highly recommend this product. Wouldn't be without it. Helps sooth digestion problems quickly.
