Hybrid Nonstick Wok, 25 cm, Stay-Cool Handle, Dishwasher Safe, Induction Ready, Compatible with All Cooktops

Bought this as a gift for my son in law and he was really pleased with it. Rather expensive but supposedly a very good product.

Excellent product, quality build, great to use and is easy to clean. Do think it is slightly over priced at £160 considering a set of 7 saucepans with lids comes in at less than £500. So in retrospect would have liked to have ditched the wok as part of 7 saucepan set and included the 35cm wok as an option.

It's comforting to know that its extreme slipperiness is without risky coatings. The lid is an interference-fit, with three pressure-relief holes, which gives it a positive feel. The whole things oozes quality. We have used it twice, two different people, and both love it. It gets hot on our induction hob very quickly and high up the sides quickly too. I'm sure that nothing will stick and rinsing before washing is unequalled easy. Quod Erat Demonstrandum

Brilliant wok if used correctly

First of all this pan is like a cast iron wok and it weights a ton, my wife will avoid using this and stick to the Ninja non stick pan instead. I like this pan as it retains and distribute heat evenly, it browns meat much better and less chance of meat steaming with its own juice rather than browning. The cooking surface is not the same is normal non stick, if we fry an egg and move it around at the beginning and it will stick and messy. The non stick part is surrounded by ridges which can cause food to stick. However, since the sticky parts are tiny and spaced out if food pieces are big and have some integrity it will be able to loosens itself from the surface and glide. We don't use metal tongs but silicon to make sure it will have the longest possible life in our kitchen, this is the only non stick pan I am happy to use at higher heat until the oil smoke. It actually likes that as it will season the wok surface and make it more nonstick over time.

I had high hopes for the HexClad 30cm Hybrid Wok based on the hype and premium price tag, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. Despite following all care instructions, everything I cooked stuck badly—even basic stir-fries and eggs. The pan looks brand new, with no residue on the base of the pan and there is no reason for food to stick, I cooked on a lower heat as requested and everything was sticking! I was going to buy a set, which was a high ticket price but please I tried this one first as I would have wasted so much money I expected a non-stick or at least easy-release performance, but this wok behaves more like an uncoated stainless steel pan. Cleanup was a hassle, and the stuck-on food made cooking stressful rather than enjoyable. For the price, I expected far better performance. Sadly, this wok is not fit for purpose in my kitchen and has been relegated to the back of the cupboard. I can’t recommend it, especially when there are much better-performing options at a fraction of the cost. Would not recommend to anyone!

They are expensive but worth it. They are by far the best saucepans.

Ich habe den HexClad Wok (35cm) jetzt seit ein paar Wochen im Einsatz und bin echt zufrieden. Hier mal meine Eindrücke: Fast nichts klebt an: Ich war skeptisch wegen der Hybrid-Beschichtung, aber die Antihaft-Funktion ist super. Selbst bei Gerichten mit wenig Öl bleibt meistens nichts haften. Einfache Reinigung: Stärkehaltige Lebensmittel können schon mal leicht ansetzen. Allerdings lässt sich der Wok relativ einfach von Hand reinigen. Bei mir kommen Pfannen und auch der Wok grundsätzlich nicht in die Spülmaschine, weshalb ich zur Spülmaschinentauglichkeit nichts sagen kann. Gute Größe: Mit 35 cm ist er ideal für größere Portionen. Ich koche oft für mehrere Leute, und es passt alles locker rein, ohne dass ich ständig rühren muss, damit nichts überläuft. Solide Qualität: Er liegt gut in der Hand und ist stabil, ohne zu schwer zu sein. Der Griff wird beim Kochen auch nicht heiß, was ich bei anderen Pfannen oft nervig fand. Einziger kleiner Punkt: Der Preis ist schon etwas höher als bei anderen Woks. Aber wenn man viel kocht und etwas Langlebiges sucht, lohnt sich die Investition meiner Meinung nach. Bisher bin ich rundum zufrieden!

Great wok!

J'étais sceptique avec toutes les publicités qu'on voit sur cet objet, mais j'ai sauté le pas et je ne regrette vraiment pas. plus rien n'accroche et on peu utiliser une spatule en inox/fer etc.... ca ne raye pas ! Tout cuit parfaitement, même à petit feu - pas vraiment besoin de graisse. J'en suis ravi et si je devais en racheter pour des amis, je le ferais les yeux fermés.

The Wok looks amazing, it is very sturdy and exudes quality. A note to users, while the description states cool handles for safe use, it relates to the handles on the side and not necessarily the top handle on the lid. That said, very happy with the purchase and value for money

Excellent product, but rather expensive. Definitely keep in mind that this is a low(er) heat wok - you can destroy it! Similarly, to wok may need to be 'seasoned' after multiple uses (your mileage may vary). All that said, it's massive, an excellent steamer, normal wok, even/distribute heat!! I love using it, and of course, really love someone else uses it and shares the lovelies they make with it ;)
