Bi-Office Light Weight Magnetic Board Eraser, Grey, 105 x 55 x 23 mm

I had one of these with my magnetic glass white board and needed to replace it after several years, that's how long the original lasted. The grey coloured one (called "DESIGN1" in the Amazon listing for ASIN B000NMAY74) is sold by Amazon themselves (not a Marketplace seller) for only £2.67 whereas other colours are £7.53 - Amazing price, but maybe an alarmbell I should have heard ringing... What arrived within 4 days is complete rubbish. It is a little bit smaller than my previous one, but more importantly it has a tiny weak magnet in it which won't hold it onto any surface, let alone a magnetic glass white board (which usually require strong neodymium magnets). I cut it open, took the magnets out and posted a picture here so you can compare (and by the way: They are both the same thickness). In addition the one that Amazon is selling and shipping stinks out the entire room with a really nasty chemical smell - this is not from the spray you use to wipe the whiteboard, but from the Eraser itself. I can't be bothered to send this back and this eraser will go straight in the bin. I am wondering whether this really is a Bi-Office Eraser or possibly a fake knockoff that Amazon is selling.

Like other customers, I bought this because of the supposed magnetic qualities. It is not magnetic at all. I thought it was because the white board itself wasn't magnetic, but I tried it on the metal at the side of the whiteboard and it did not stay. I tried it on the fridge in the staff room (where there are other magnets) and it did not stay. So either the magnetic has lost its magnetic feel, or the thing I can feel inside of it is not a magnet. As for the eraser itself, it smudges the ink of the pens all over the board. I've only written one sentence and rubbed it out and now that part of the board looks grey and will get worse if I continue to use the "eraser". I definitely would not recommend this product.

I ordered this produce as it was cheap and appeared to be what I required. As a primary school teacher (who regularly buys her own resources) I was taken with the affordable pricing. I was extremely disappointed that on firsy use it barely removed the pen and even with a firm hand it mainly smudges the ink instead of wiping it away. I'd really appreciate a refund.

Good Points (when browsing before recieveing): - Basic universal design - "Cheap" (cost perspective for what is advertised) Negatives (when recieved): - IT IS NOT MAGNETIC AND DOES NOT STICK TO THE WHITEBOARD OR FRIDGE - Basically an overpriced reusable sponge. AVOID this product and buy a cheaper, tackier looking ones as they do actually do what they say.

This is the worst product that I have ever bought on Amazon. First of the smell when I opened the package was nauseating,what on earth have they treated it against. Second when I tried the product for the first time it scratched my new whiteboard,and to make matters worse it didn't even work as described by the seller. So I got a new kitchen sponge,humidified it and this worked a treat.

I had the chance to use this today for the first time since buying it. Not only is it really pathetic as an eraser but it's not even magnetic! It doesn't hold onto my whiteboard, NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT! Don't waste your money, this is going straight in the bin.

Do not buy this. Terrible product. Rather than erase the whiteboard it left very visible black streaks across it which then had to be removed with a damp cloth. I have returned as the product is not fit for purpose.

Er hält am Whiteboard, wie er soll. Er stinkt nicht, deshalb kann ich einige Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Was mir nicht gefallen hat Aktuell gibt es nichts an diesem Artikel auszusetzen. Fazit Funktioniert und ist günstig, wer glaubt zu diesem Kampfpreis einen echten Schwanm aus der Südsee zu bekommen, der von einem Perlentaucher zufällig gefunden und von Hand geerntet wurde und dann später von dessen blinden Großmutter noch einen veganen Magneten angenäht bekommen hat, der irrt sich... Aber jetzt mal unter uns: das haben wir auch nie erwartet, oder?
