Is this a remastered edition or just 3 games transferring to next gen?

Having put it on this is more a transfer than serious upgrade. A little bit of visual polish was given but not much, reflected in that there's only one disk covering all 3 games and the 2 video stories (lineage and Embers) So only buy if you no longer have a Xbox360 or PS3

Do the games still handle like an elephant in regards to controls?

AC2 controls are a bit bad, but ACB and ACR handle great.
