TRIXES Waterproof Hiking Gaiters — Outdoor Leg Protection — Adjustable Fit

I’d recommend. Cheap and cheerful.The calves can be quite tight though but there elasticated, I wore over my boots which covered my legs anyway so they may be tight for others if just straight on calves. But good Velcro strength, good protection. Very lightweight but effective and kept my legs clean and warm! Only Worn once so unsure on durability, I’m due to clean them!

Perfect whenever riding conditions are less than ideal.I was initially sceptical as to whether or not these Gators would be a lot of use with regards to protection from the elements while riding my bike, but figured at the very least they would do the job of bicycle clips, which can be uncomfy. Being a rather modest fellow and a bit on the larger side I prefer to wear loose jogging bottoms over my cyling leggings whenever the weather is cool enough. The problem I had was they would soak up any moisture when it was wet and sometimes get cought in the drive train. The former sometimes getting uncomfortable on longer rides, the latter being annoying and expensive. These Gators prevent these problems with superb effectiveness.The stirrup goes under my boot and seems to resist wear from the walky bits (hills), while the hook thingy at the end of the zip holds them in place over the front of my foot. The zip itself is then covered by a velcro seal that keeps the wind and rain out as well as the zip closed.I have worn these out in some trying and unpleasant conditions and they not only kept me dry and tucked in but I believe made a massive contribution to my overall comfort against rain, sleet and snow we have had recently.For the price I could recommend highly enough for any outdoor pursuits.Update; they have finally given up the ghost. Having had to restitch a couple of times in a couple of places the zipper tag has broken and the lace hook has come away. They have had plenty of use though and i shall be ordering more.

I chose these gaiters as they represented excellent value. To be honest, I wasn't sure how good the quality would be for such a low priced item but I couldn't have been more pleased, they are excellent.The first time I wore them unfortunately, it revealed the the stitching at the bottom of the zip hadn't quite caught properly when being sewn in. I popped a quick email over to Digiflex who responded immediately with an apology and pledge to send me another pair, no questions asked, no quibble. When they arrived the very next day to say I was pleased is an understatement. EXCELLENT customer service!The second pair were absolutely fine and saved me from a completely wet foot when I sank in a bog when wearing them the following day. I actually couldn't believe it prevented water from getting inside my walking boot, but it did - they fit so well with great adjustment, the strap which goes under the foot enables you to pull it really taut and that, coupled with additional velcro covering the zip is probably what made them on this occasion, watertight. I was VERY please!All in all, this purchase and dealing with Digiflex has been a very positive experience and I would not hesitate in recommending them.

After getting big very soggy legs walking in the UK autumn weather I tried these and so glad I did. They look great with leggings and cover a large proportion of my walking boots which saves them getting too muddy, they stay in place so well (no adjustments needed on 3 hour hike) and also add a bit of unexpected warmth to my legs! Easy to wipe clean and the under-boot strap just rinses out afterwards. I took notice of some other reviews and re-threaded the under-boot strap so that the loose bit tucked back up under the gaiter so it didn’t get in the way - super easy to do. Wouldn’t be without these now and very affordable. Definitely recommend

As gaiters go, these are alright. Nothing special and should work fine. Quite light and the material isn't bad.What let mine down was poor stitching and a drawcord that pulled straight out on their first use. Some needle'n'thread work later and I'd had that sorted. Annoying but not a problem.The seams are not taped, so the possibility of them leaking is there, but I solved this with tent seam sealer.I'll give these a more thorough workout when it snows bad enough to warrant them, otherwise they'll stay in my hiking backpack for 'just-in-case' reasons.

Wow as these were not at all expensive I didn’t expect them to be fab but they are. I used themA lot and they are great. They do the job of keeping my legs dry and clean when out dog walking on wet muddy days. They are easy to get on and off. The only this I will say I’d the hoot strap is a bit fiddly Initially and the extra length hangs down and if not tucked in can be gridded on and annoying- easily rectified if you place it to the side and tuck the end back in to the clasp thingy before first use then you won’t need to mess with it again

Wore this on a eleven mile hike round Pen Y Fan etc, in pretty unpleasant weather. I was impressed that the gaitors stayed put on my boots (I did as someone else suggested, and re-threaded the buckles so the excess strap pointed up, so I could then tuck it in), and were very comfortable - I didn't notice I had them on. They kept my legs dry while traipsing through a wet field, but when the rain started to come down towards the end of the hike, the gaitors couldn't cope and I did get wet lower legs. Not soaked as they would have been with nothing on, but these were not 100% waterproof.

Actually quite surprised how good there are for the price you pay, good fit , well made and easy to fit. Bargain.

These things are great. I’ve been pressure washing at work for last few weeks, and my feet were staying soaking wet. These won’t allow any water to go in your boot from top or from bottom.

Je suis vraiment satisfait des guêtres TRIXES. Elles remplissent parfaitement leur rôle par temps pluvieux. Très légères à porter que l’on les oublierait presque ! Qualité au rendez-vous. Rien à redire sur les coutures. La fermeture éclair de 6 mm est de bonne qualité avec sa bande Velcro sur toute la longueur assurant une parfaite étanchéité.Ces guêtres correspondent vraiment à mes besoins pour la marche rapide et j’en suis plus que satisfait. Je les recommande sans hésitation.

Es sind TOP-Gamaschen für einen alltäglichen Gebrauch: Pilze suchen, Angeln, mit dem Hund ausgehen, im Schnee laufen etc. Ich glaube nicht, dass sie einen perfekten Schutz vor Wasser, Gestrüpp und Schlangenbisse bieten, haben aber einen riesigen Vorteil: sie fallen angenehm weit aus, sitzen schön am Fuß, man merkt sie nach 3 Minuten nicht mehr. Material ist nicht besonders dick, wie eine Regenhose. Ewig werden sie nicht halten, aber beim normalen Gebrauch ein Saison wird drin sein. Beim Preis ist OK, dann gibts die nächsten.Ich habe zum Vergleich Leomix Schlangen Gamaschen. Mit diesen kann man auf Jagt gehen und sich durch den übelsten Gestrüpp durchschlagen. Aber der Nachteil ist die Enge, Material ist sehr dick, der Fuß ist wie eingeklemmt. Wenn man's braucht, dann ist OK, aber ich möchte sie beim Waldspaziehrgang nicht tragen.Also alles in Allem - TOP Produkt für guten Preis für normalen häuslichen Gebrauch.
