Original Curling Custard, Natural Styling Gel, 16 ounces

I love this, it’s my favourite gel for curly hair and I have tried many, you only have to use a very little so it does last but it is quite expensive is my only negative. Lovely smell and good hold but not sticky.

I have purchased this now three times. Don’t use it all the time as it is quite pricey. However probably the best curling custard I’ve used. Leaves my hair feeling soft but with great curl definition. Expensive but worth it.

This is a brilliant product for natural afro hair but why is it at least £7 more on here than in the shops?

so i defo find this gel moisturising and my hair always feels soft once the cast has broken. But no matter how drenched my hair is with water and i mean literally like I'm in the shower with hair dripping and that's when I'm applying it I still get white bits in my hair which is really annoying (and this both with or without a leave in as I wanted to do proper testing) i might not have them on day 1 but i will see more and more of them through the week. Its a real shame because it actually produces a great hold for wash and gos on thick course coily hair. I won't give up on it yet becauseni dont like wasting money, if I find a way to guarantee no white bits ill come back and update.

I'm an afro man and I'm very disappointed, it simply doesn't work for me despiste all the positive reviews. There is either no difference with my hairs, or my hairs become worth than when I don't apply anything on them. - When I apply this product on my wet hairs, they become sticky and shorter as the product dries. The result is that when the product dries my hairs flatten and my style is gone. Therefore, ironically, I'm never sure how I'm going to look in 2 hours after styling my hairs with this product. The only thing I know is that my hairs won't look good, and that they'll look far from having been styled with an expensive product. - When I apply it on my dry hairs it makes no difference. If I try to put a lot, either the problem mentioned above occurs, or I get white stuff all over my head as the product dries. I think a product that expensive should either work out-of-the-box of have a good guidance on how to use it. Here I have to do a guess work, and experiments to try to figure out how people get it working. I hope I'll figure out one day and if someone has tips I'll take them. However until then I won't buy this product again and I have no hesitation to say that I'm not satisfied with my purchase. I feel I didn't get what I paid for.

Does what it says on the jar in terms of defining your natural curls but there is something lacking as it does not moisturise the hair. It dries out hair so need a moisturise hair well before applying.

Love this product. lasts a long time and only need to use a little once a week. it keeps frizz at bay and hair feels soft to the touch and not dry like other gels. Well packaged and prompt delivery will definately reorder again.

Good product. I can use just this after washing and conditioning hair. It is very moisturizing. It creates a cast which I can scrunch. Con is if I use it with any other leave in. Hair becomes very stringy and m not able to scrunch it. So can't cocktail it with other products. And yes it heavy on the pocket

Este producto es increible. Tengo rizos y antes los secaba con espuma. Bueno, no estaba mal-mal, pero con este gel tengo todos los rizos definidos y con mucho brillo. El pelo es sano y suave, estoy encantada! Es caro, pero me durara 2 anos por la pequena cantidad que se necesita.

This product smells so good! I have 2B curls, I have a lot of hair but the actual strands are fine. This product helped define my curls without weighing them down or making them crunchy. I use this in combination with Lus Brand wavy trio.

Absolutely LOVE this product. It is the HOLY GRAIL of every other product. It isn't cheap, but it isn't expensive either. It's affordable since a little goes a long way. My hair is a mix of 2C, 3A, and 3B. My hair strands are not consistent. And my hair is very thin low porosity. This stuff works like a charm. I use it a minimum of once a week, if not more. It does not dry out my hair, make my hair greasy, or make my hair tangly. Every other all-natural curly hair girl product I've used (more than 10 other brands/lines) have either made my hair too greasy, too tangly, or too dry. This product does not do that. It does not weigh thin hair down. It defines the curls, decreases frizz, and makes the hair soft. You have to figure out how to use it for your specific hair because everyone is differnet. It took a few trys for me to nail it, but I didn't give up on this product. For my cleanly washed hair, I have to squeeze out the excess water and rake/fingercomb the custard into my hair upside down. If I put the custard in my hair any other way, it will not work. I then scrunch, and do the plop method then diffuse or air dry. This stuff is my favorite, I had to buy the larger size. I use this, and this alone. That's all I need. The perfect wash n go.
