Destroyer CS650 Counter-Rotating Saw with Carry Case

This saw does what the infomercial says. It cuts through anything! Very smoothly. After trying to cut cast iron sewer pipes with other methods. We used this saw and it cut through like butter.Update December 24, 2014: It's true this saw did work well.. After the third use it started smoking etc. lost power. Sparks a lot. Smells like it is burned out. I'm not sure if mine is still under warranty. I will be calling to check.I can't edit the number of stars. So it stays at 5. I will update this review after I call manufacturer.

I used this to cut some 1/2" steel pieces. It worked pretty well and pretty fast. You can not get into corners very well at all though. If you are cutting things that are not in tight spaces this will work great. It seemed to lose a little performance during the two nights I used it. We will see how well it holds up later.

Junk do not buy. Motor smelled burnt after a few uses. I call representative who told it was normal when new. A few more uses and the motor stopped working. I was going to call Costco to return it but I put it away and forgot about it. It is junk. I am surprised Costco sold this saw. I hope that it has been recalled by the manufacturer so that I can get my money back.

You sent me a different make saw than the one I thought I was purchasing. It wasn't a dual saw.

As advertised the saw pretty much cuts anything. I cut up sections of PVC pipe as well as regular pipes for disposal. I was hoping that the saw could be used for construction as well as destruction, maybe it can but it is going to take some more practice on my end to get that accomplished. I was hoping to pick-up a guide accessory for cutting straight lines, but I can't seem to find one. I don't think I would utilize this saw very often, but like most tools when the situation arises it will be nice to have.Update 10/23/2013. I contacted the manufacturer about making the saw more accurate. They have a guide that works well, but it is limited to 4 - 5" from an edge of where you are cutting. I also found out that they have a laser that afixes to the saw. I ordered and installed both accessories. The guide as I mentioned before, works fine. I attached the laser (thumb screw on a part of the saw) and found that it was not accurate without manually adjusting it. I laid the blade against the side of my table saw extension and then moved the laser around until it literally aligned with the edge of the table saw. Once I did that, it worked fine. Since the laser cannot be attached to store the saw in the case, this messing around would have to be done on every use. I wish I could say I would recommend this accessory, but the amount that I would use it isn't worth the effort. On the positive side the laser wasn't that expensive. One thing that became real apparent was the width of the cut in a piece of wood the saw makes. It is something that should go without saying that it will be wide (two blades), but it was really hammered home when I tried it with the laser. The width is a good 1/4 wide.

This is very high quality saw. I used it to saw very hard wood. It worked perfectly. However there is one drawback. The handle has to be mounted and dismounted each time if you want to store it in its hard case. The case design should allow it to store without taking off the handle.

died after 1 use tried to cut .060 piece of aluminum cut about 36" and got that magical blue smoke didn't even finish 1 job

Used it on home demo job. It cut through the walls and flooring with ease. Nice and easy to handle in awkward angles.
