Very good quality and a great gift

Well it looks okay and the sounds are authentic enough, doesn't flip up has to be done manually. It's a reflection of the price I guess it's very plastic and all I'll say is handle with care , easily broken.

When this arrived I was pleasantly surprised it looks good it’s worth the price,but have new batteries ready as the ones supplied are useless ,it really is a lovely add on for my phaser

Bought it as a prop for a fancy dress costume. It's pretty cheap and cheerful, 100% plastic, but when you consider the price under £6 it's exactly what I'm looking for. There's little flashing lights, and sounds which are authentic and quite impressive (one being the sound of the communicator opening a channel, the other sounding like the scanning noises heard on the bridge.)The only complaint is the lid/flap/antenna which, being plastic, is neither heavy nor loose enough to open with the flick of a wrist (it's not even easy to grip to open with your finger). Hopefully I can loosen it up a bit as it's a vital part of the legend!Even if that was enough reason to dock a star, the accompanying 47-page mini-booklet is a fantastic little read giving you some background of both the fiction and the reality of the device you have a replica of.

It's ok,not the size of one used in show ,or has volume switch like the one in show or the ones you can bu in America,and feels cheap,but as I say it's the way to day You pay alot for not alot,plus would of been cool if it had button to open lid,you you could get that feel of calling the Enterprise, but you have to use you finger nail to prize open lid

Really good value and quality, especially for the price. It seems a little smaller than the original prop but not enough to be disappointed. The box is very nice and the little booklet is great too. If you are wondering that the price is too good to be true and you'd get some nasty horrible thing, fear not. Would highly recommend;-)
