Solid wooden pegs that will last a lifetime
Bought these years ago and they're still going strong. Plastic pegs just get brittle and snap after a few years due to UV damage, but decent wooden ones will last you a lifetime if you keep them dry. Mine live outdoors all year and get covered up by the washing line cover. They're plenty strong enough for any normal washing including heavy stuff like towels - never had a problem with lack of grip.

Good value clothes pegs, suitable for the job, but could be better.....
Many of my old pegs seem to have been lost so I bought this pack to replenish them. These pegs work as they should, they hold the washing on the line, but i was hoping for pegs of the same quality as my previous ones and i'm a bit disappointed to find that their not quite up to that standard. They're mostly pretty smoothly finished so not likely to snag clothes during use. There was just the odd one or two that were slightly rough finished. Don't get me wrong I have been using them, but mainly for small or lightweight items as I'm not sure they would hold my fleece sofa covers for example. When I have used them to hang anything heavy such as jeans, I have used extra pegs than i would normally use to be sure that the laundry will stay put. I've included a photo comparing these pegs to my old ones so you can see the difference in size between the two. Not only in the size of the wood but also the size of the spring which is much larger in my old pegs resulting in a stronger peg. These particular pegs measure 7.5cm in length and are 1cm in width which is both shorter and narrower than my old ones. This is also demonstrated in the attached video where you can see that due to the spring being smaller, these pegs are a little more flimsy and come apart easier. The second peg in the video is one of my old sturdier ones. Having said that I've not yet had any washing fall off the line with these pegs, they do the job fine so long as I take care not to overload them with weight and use extra pegs when necessary. I didn't pay much for them either so in that regard they're reasonable value. I've not managed to find pegs of the same strength as my previous ones anywhere for a long time either and until I do I'm happy to keep using these ones.

Not the same quality as those I bought in May!
I bought a pack of these pegs in May 2023 and was delighted by their quality; they look almost hand carved! They are also very good at holding the washing to the line; I'd definitely give them 5 stars, but I never had enough so decided to buy some more this month (September). As you can see from the photos, the quality (and perhaps the wood used?) has seriously deteriorated. The first pegs are a golden yellow colour, smooth and with a nicely rounded head. The second set are a completely different colour, badly finished and you can see where they were attached to a machine for turning. They might be OK for crafting but for hanging out washing, they are not fit for purpose. "They're only pegs", I hear you say, but the first set represented great quality at a good price. The second set are just about passable but I'd need to smooth off the rough bits myself, which I am not prepared to do. The price had been reduced a bit, and I guess this is to reflect the reduced quality, but I would have expected a bit of consistency when buying the same product from the same manufacturer. I'm disappointed and returning them for a refund.

Environment friendly clothes pegs! Worth it for sure 😊
These pegs provide a strong grip on clothing, ensuring garments stay securely on the line even in breezy weather. Their sturdy wooden construction makes them long-lasting and environmentally friendly compared to plastic alternatives. The smooth finish of quality wooden pegs prevents fabric damage, while their timeless design adds a charming, great touch to everyday chores. They are easy to use, lightweight, and versatile for hanging various types of laundry. Overall, wooden clothes pegs offer excellent functionality with an elegant simplicity that never goes out of style. I had them for couples of months and they still doing great!

Good number of pegs for value but quality is not 100%
A good number of pegs for the value but the quality isn't all there. The metal clasps are easily dislodged.
