Brabantia 365188 Nylon Spatula, Large - Black

Overall a solid spatula that is sturdy enough to flip food over. No problem in flipping fried eggs as well. Only problem is that food gets stuck on the spatula tip: eggs, rice, garlic, seasonings... Needs extreme effort to rub them off. Price: £3.75UPDATE: Over a few months scratches have also appeared on my Argos non-stick pan. Washing this spatula is difficult.Spend a bit more for a good quality one. I bought KitchenCraft's Colourworks silicone food turner and boy is it much better: actually waterproof and nothing sticks. More flexible (doesn't scratch my pan at all) but still turns eggs or thick cuts of meat easily.

I used this five times to cook single eggs in a small frying pan. On the first use, damage could be seen around the edges. After each use it was placed in the dishwasher for cleaning, which is clearly shown as an option in the description. As you'll see from the image, it has considerable damage to all edges and unusable at this point.

This spatula partially melted when using it to fry an egg!

I bought this for stir frying single portions like tofu in my small frying pan. It's perfect for the job.This spatula with it's cute, pink (easy to find in the drawer) handle is just wide enough to be able to turn the food successfully.Other spatulas have tips that are too wide and get in the way of the food... they're fine for larger pans and larger food (please see photo of this Brabantia pink handled spatula next to my regular spatulas for size comparison).Strong and sturdy, it washes well in the dishwasher and hasn't melted or gone pitted at the edges yet, despite regular contact with the base of the frying pan.I'm very pleased and would recommend.

I wanted a small non stick spatula as my previous one had just split after 20 years ,I went all over our Town looking for a small one with no luck .Then I though I was putting a order in to Amazon so I looked to see what was about,,I was spoilt for choice as. there was a good selection ,I though Brabania was a house hold name so I ordered it .On delivery I was very pleased that it was just the size I wanted ,well made and a nice pink handle ,that I thought would brighten the kitchen up when cooking, also on cooking the spatula preformed well even with eggs which everyone knows how they are difficult even when washing egg does not want to come off of utensils but not with this one

These are great. I had had all nylon spatulas before and they always feel flimsy and bendy. Functional perhaps but not pleasant to use. The handles on these are rigid (I am not sure if it is the whole handle or an insert) and they are capped with a metal bit with a nice Brabantia logo on them. You cannot really see this in the pictures on Amazon.This gives them a nice heft, and solid feel, while the external surface is still all nylon for comfort, easy cleaning and heat resistance. I have not had them long but these little beauties have already made several meals of fried bacon and eggs with no melting / issues, and the resultant goes through the dishwasher.I am really pleased with this purchase; highly recommended.

I bought one of these for myself and now my Mom and Sister both have them. Nice to hold and easy to use, especially with a pair of kitchen tweezers crafted from the same heat-resistant plastic.I would recommend the heavier version for steaks though. I haven't had any melting issues with them, but then I do take care of my stuff, and I never leave them in the pan!

I decided to buy this utensil primarily to turn eggs over and I thought there was a place in my utensil drawer for it. It is now my go to fish slice. I use it to flip everything. I only have one and its in constant use The other utensil are redundant. Seems hard wearing. Will probably buy a few more in the near future.
