Well made and good quality, no assembly required. The different angles are really good also the front arms that hold the pages are flexible and strong the rubber tip of the arms stops your pages/paper from tearing, overall this is a nice looking recipe book stand that easily supports heavy hard backed books and folds away easily for storage, well packaged and delivered on time very happy with this purchase...thank you

This recipe book stand is brilliant. I had to return another one I'd ordered because it wouldn't stand up, it wasn't adjustable and the page holders were useless. It was a shane because it was a beautiful cast iron one and when I ordered this, I did so reluctantly because it doesn't have that rustic quality. However, I needn't have worried. It looks far nicer in the kitchen than the pictures give it credit for, it's fully adjustable and is secure and the page holders are firm and secure. You can put any size book on it, hardback or paperback and the page holders actually do their job and can be moved around. The end of each one has a fixed silicone cover so you can't rip your pages either. You could put a phone or tablet on it too, although I bought this because I got fed up of using my phone because the screen kept turning off. The longest I can set my phone screen on for without switching off is 10 mins (Samsung S22 ultra), which I understand is for security reasons, but if I'm in my house cooking, it's not like I'm going to lose it or have it stolen is it? Plus, I also got fed up with trying to lean it against the kitchen roll so it'd stay up and the screen is too small for my aging eyes!

Pros: - good quality - holds any size of cook book - folds down so it’s compact to store - adjustable for a full range of angles - looks good on the kitchen counter Cons: - the back of the stand folds down when in use, when not in use it folds up for storage, however there is no magnet to hold it there, which is a bit frustrating. - would be nice if the back of the stand was made of metal instead of plastic for aesthetics

I got this primarily to hold coding reference books, which can tend to be pretty thick. It is able to easily hold even the thickest book in my collection (which comes in at just under 1000 pages). The metal clips do a decent job of holding the pages, though for really thick books it's often best to only use one on the 'thin' side and let the other stay by its own weight. It looks smart too, easy to adjust the angle with a good selection of positions, and folds away quite compact.

I bought this bookstand to hold books open, for when I am doing translations at my desk. The stand needed to be small enough to fit between the front of my desk and my monitor (my keyboard is on a sliding shelf beneath) and needed to be angled at about 45 degrees so I look down at the book while typing and still see my monitor. I had tried another stand, made of aluminium, which was not only much more expensive, but it was clumsy, unstable and it broke quickly! I have only had this wooden one about a month but so far it is already doing the job much better, and the folds away really easily. It also seems much sturdier and I am confident it will last longer. So far I am very pleased with it.

Tenía en casa otro atril de plástico comprado también en Amazon, qvendido al mismo precio que este y también con buenas reseñas, pero no me convencía. Al final, decidí comprar este, y el resultado fue de la noche al día. Este sí que es un pedazo de atril de calidad, bien hecho, estable, robusto, que sujeta bien cualquier libro (no como el de plástico, que era un infierno constante porque muchos libros se cerraban o se pasaban las páginas solas), permite una amplio rango de ángulos de apoyo y, por si todo esto fuera poco, es bonito y barato. Para mí, el atril perfecto, no se puede pedir más. Chapó
