This gun rack is initially flimsy feeble and just ok ... the reason why I gave this gun rack a 5 star is because this gun rack has a potential to be great. I have a Silverado 1500 single cab ... so i am limited from the get go with space. Take some black electrical tape and wrap the TOP flange of both racks , one time... then take the electrical tape and wrap the BOTTOM flange six times ( this will ensure grip ) this alone helps the product 50% more , but still not stout. I made a 16" distance placement between racks I took a 1/4 wooden dowel , ( if you are a welder , you know what you can do with metal instead ) cut two16"s length Painted black ... starting with small drill bit , drilled small holes on each end dead center ... progressed to next size up , drilled, next size up , drilled 1/2 " depth Got four 1" wood screws with lock washers ... ( painted top black ) Install dowels lower & mid section where there are designated holes ...snug to tight ... the gun rack is sturdy and stout ... see photos

These were ok. They fit and held the gun. I just kept hitting my head on it.

Somewhat flimsy and not very sturdy. Won't hold it's position, but it's serving it's purpose.... Holding my levels.

It seems a little dodgy, being made from plastic, but once you manage to get it locked onto the window just right, it does its job. I held off writing a review for over a month, just to see how this gunrack would hold up. You have to understand; my security company truck is the epitome of rugged. It has a 2-inch suspension lift, mud tires and overload springs, so it beats you to death even on asphalt. It drives like a HMMWV, if you've ever had the pleasure. I wear gloves when I drive it. I've hit potholes and speed bumps, hopped curbs, locked up the brakes on an old F250HD with nothing resembling ABS, and run it hard a' starboard to avoid an iceberg. I have an AR15, a baton, a shemagh, and a duty belt hanging from that d*** gun rack, and nothing has fallen. The rack hasn't come flying off, the rifle hasn't muzzle-thumped me in the head, and I can't ask any more of it than that. Decent little gun rack at a decent price. 4 stars, only because it's plastic and it was a little difficult getting it mounted.

Sized to fit the smallest of rear windows, compact pick up maybe. Fail.

I saw a lot of bad reviews. I just installed it in my Nissan frontier but I will say is my truck wasn’t exactly built for this because it doesn’t have the sliders on both sides so I had to improvise a little bit, but I got it to work drove down some dirt roads took some sharp turns and it stayed up without any problems. The problem is it’s a little hard to get out actually. Photo is a little AI generated. Wasn’t sure if I could post the real one haha
