MONIN Premium Chocolate Cookie Syrup 700ml, for Coffee and Cocktails, Vegan

A nice more dark chocolate taste than overly sweetened chocolate flavours. Great in hot or iced coffee.

Think I've died and gone to Heavan! Monin syrups are sensational and a must to jazz up a boring cup of coffee. I usually buy the Caramel flavour but opted for the Chocolate Cookie which is far, far better I think. It's not as sweet as the Caramel but that it a matter of opinion. I find that Monin syrups are true to their flavours - the Caramel tastes very much like caramel, and the Chocolate Cookie tastes like Chocolate Cookie. It's the real deal! Remember that you can add as much or as little of the syrup as you want to your drinks to meet your taste. Whislt I don't use the syrup in my coffee every day, it's great for a treat and this massive 700ml bottle will last me ages! I must say that the bottle arrived well packaged and protected in a bottle-sized box, and the bottle itself was contained within a inflatable bottle protector for transit. You could toss the bottle about and it would not be damaged (please don't try this! Lol) Overall, very pleased with this. If you want to treat yourself, get this! Also makes for a great gift for coffee lovers too :-)

Goes perfectly with coffee or hot chocolate.

I’ve always been a fan of monin syrups for both my cappuccinos and cocktails. While skiing in France they were selling “cookiccinos” (just a cappuccino with this syrup) and upon trying my first I was hooked. The favour is spot on, giving the coffee a real chocolate chip cookie hint, non of this slightly chemical “can see that’s what it’s supposed to taste like” sort of taste. For the price it’s worth a try, you won’t regret

I am a very big coffee drinker and I do have a sweet tooth. Yes, this flavour is very sweet but the beauty is that you can choose how much syrup you put in your coffee. It is not the sweetest in my personal experience (White chocolate is much sicklier). If you don't want it too sweet, choose a different flavour or put a smaller amount in your drink. Also, most Monin syrup products come in 70cl glass bottles, only a few of the range can be sold in 1 ltr plastic bottles. Sweetbird syrups are sold in plastic bottles :-)

Monin syrups are the best flavoured syrups. The Chocolate cookie flavour is a sugar syrup with a lovely chocolatey, chocolate chip cookie dough taste. I use it to make flavoured, sweetened iced coffee. It also works well added to or drizzled over ice cream. It's very sweet so a little goes a long way. But a nice special treat & piece of enjoyment for our household.

First of all I have to admit I am to blame for not checking the listing properly. I thought this was a 1 Liter bottle when it is fact only 700ml. I even ordered a 1 Liter pump to go with it. I just want to make the size apparent in case anyone else is as hasty as me and doesn't check the size. Regarding the syrup; I had purchased a sample pack of syrups and thought this was a good choice but on second thoughts and having had more than just a sample sized bottle to base my judgement on, I have to say that like a lot of other people I find it too sweet and sickly. No question about the quality of the product, just a matter of taste and I'm afraid that on reflection I join the "too sweet for me" club. So 3 stars is all I can give which means it's ok but watch out for the size and taste, I got both wrong on this purchase.

This is our favourite syrup to use in our morning coffee in this household. It gives it massive depth and flavour, very unexpected as I saw mixed reviews for the chocolate cookie one. I do recommend always going for the 70cl glass bottle though, it is definitely better tasting than in the larger 1l plastic bottle.
