Bass Face DB1.1 1500W Monoblock Subwoofer Amplifier for Car

I'd already heard this amp in a friends car so I knew what to expect and I'm not disappointed. I love the way it looks, it feels excellent quality, its got plenty of good useful features and the performance is absolutely brilliant! I'm running the amp on a single Bass Face SPL12.1 at the moment and it absolutely smashes it. The low bass literally shakes the interior of the car when it hits! It didnt do that with my old amp and that was supposed to be 2000 watts! The bass remote is very handy for listening to different music styles. At low levels the sound is just as exciting, in fairness its just a great piece of kit.To be honest, if this was £150 I would probably still leave a 5 star rating but because it's £60 there isn't another rating other than 5 star!I am going to upgrade my front speakers to Bass Face and get another DB amp to run them too! If they are anything like this beast then I will be very happy!This is excellent value for money and I am very happy with it! :) Amazon as always are very fast and easy to deal with. Had some trouble with my order not arriving and they resolved it straight away! Top marks all round!

I have a problem with mine,there is a buzzing,not a constant buzz just when a signal is going through it,when you turn up the volume the bass level eventually drowns it out but at low volumes its very irritating and ruins the sound. Once i had changed evrything in my system to test it,source,speaker I contacted Amazon and arranged a replacement and unbelievably the replacement is doing the same. I have just now swapped the amp for a spare I had and the buzz goes so its defo the amp. Cant figure out why? Once the volume goes up it sounds great,loads of power,Im using an Eminence Lab 12 and good defination and detail but jesus the buzz ruins it,sounds like its the cone blown but it defo isnt. Be interesting if anyone else has has this problem with the amp.

Fantastic sound for a budget amp. Powers my kicker solo baric L5 twin coil very nicely.

this amp is not bad for the price.but i think it is worth spending a little bit more and get something a bit better.it gets very,very hot even running it at 8ohms and at moderate volume levels!its supposed to be able to run at 2ohms in bridged mode.not sure how it would cope with a 2ohm load?its not to bad if your on a really tight budget,but in hindsight i would now spend a bit more and get something a bit better.i suppose you get what you pay for!

If you are looking for your first subwoofer amplifier then this will complement your system to a great extent, it's definitely worth the stunningly low asking price.When this arrived I was eager to open it up and see what gives, I wasn't expecting much for a £60 amplifier that claimed to be able to push 750W into a 2ohm load. But it wasn't exactly an optimistic statement, this thing will run hot (very hot without fans) at 2ohms, so I do recommend a 4ohm load at the minimum unless you cool it adequately - but it can definitely handle the load.You get mountains of power compared to similarly priced monoblock amplifiers as well as a remote (for gain control on your dashboard), a bass boost (0-12dB variable) and two crossovers (15-50Hz, 50-250Hz) which allow you to filter high and low frequencies so you that you don't have inaudible but dangerous 20Hz frequencies going to a small 8" sub.In terms of sound quality, this is subwoofer amp so as far as I know you will not be able to run this with full range speakers as you'll still only get bass. But I advise you buy one of these for one subwoofer, driving two subs with it is perhaps a little optimistic. I recommend a hardy 12" sub or a 15" at 4ohms, that way you will get the most out of the sub, there's not quite enough power for driving two 12" to their full potential, though you will probably be rewarded if you use two 10s, or 8s.

I bought this amp as well as two 8.1 subwoofers off Bass Face and got some superb service from Bass Face with some setup help and the sound is great coming from this AMP. Just make sure you follow instructions as they impact the sound massively and when you get it right, it sounds great.
