AMOS Halloween Pumpkin Carving Kit with 16 Stencil Designs + 5 Tools

Love this set! Bought it last year and just used it again. The cutting tools aren’t sharp to touch but do a good job of sawing through the pumpkin. The scooper thing is a bit useless, I use an ice cream scoop instead. I created the pumpkin shown in the picture yesterday. I needed a craft knife for the finer details but the sawing tools in this kit were invaluable. The tools are robust and going strong. The book of templates is good, it has ‘easy’ ‘medium’ and ‘hard’ ratings which seem to be a good reflection of how difficult each design is. The hardest ones are those that have cut outs near each other and lots of curves. There are some that look more difficult but are actually easier as the cutting lines are straighter and you have more room to manoeuvre. I have recommended this kit to my family and am very pleased with my purchase. Got the bug now though, will have to beat my design each year I think ha.

As a fruit carving hobbyist I was looking for a way to get into carving pumpkins and I found it!This kit comes with everything you need to carve fantastic looking halloween pumpkins not only that, the LED light takes the need to be fiddling and burning yourself with tea lights.All the tools in this kit have a purpose and once fully reading how to use them i put them to work. Not only are the tools durable and easy to hold they also look the part.The patterns in the booklet ranged from easy to medium to hard and all of them looked great and were fun to follow. After learning from this great kit I will be using these tools again for my own designs.I will definitely be buying these again to bring to the family halloween party to keep the kids entertained.

The scooper is so much better than expected! The stencils that come with the pack are a great range of designs but could use to be a little bigger. The saws that come with it do their job great but aren’t exactly hard wearing, they did begging to wear. The prickling wheel is definitely a must have tool for pumpkin carving!For the price of this set it was worth the purchase!

The good thing about this product: the carving knives, they do the job. However, the handle is not strong, so if you have a pumpkin with a thicker peel, I guess these knives will simply break in the pumpkin. The negative points: The spoon is a waste of money. We used a proper spoon to get the contents out. The book with stencils: a waste of money, as well. For the following reasons: the stencils are on paper of the most ordinary quality, once you cut them out and you try to transfer the design on the pumpkin, you cannot use them again. It would have been a smarter idea to make them out of some sort of plastic, with holes where you need to remove the pumpkin bits, and this way you could use them over and over again. Plus, because the paper they're drawn on is of so poor quality, they can be stuck on a pumpkin which is perfectly round, and I doubt pumpkins come in such shapes. Ours was round, but not perfect, hence, once we tried to stick the paper on the pumpkin (and fold it, as shown in the book), we couldnt in fact transfer the stencil on the pumpkin as you had these areas where the paper wasnt stuck on the pumpkin properly. In the end, we simply gave up on the whole stencils idea and we carved the pumpkin based on a simple design drawn by our 7 year old daughter on the pumpkin, using a marker. That worked very well. In conclusion: if you can copy the stencils on some other type of paper/ plastic or simply draw them on the pumpkin itself, then it is worth something. Otherwise, waste of money. Ultimately, one can find stencils on the Internet, print them off and transfer / draw them on the pumpkin, no need to buy a specific book for this. For this product, the only really usable and useful item is the knives. The rest.. just ad ons with no real value.

I received this the day after I ordered, which I was really pleased with.I attempted to carve the first pumpkin myself before I got my son involved and I'm happy to say that the kit is very user friendly.You receive a bright LED light which won me over as it's much more safer than the traditional candle.The tools are of high quality and there is wide variety of stencils to choose from.Very pleased and would strongly recommend.

Not bad quality you get what you pay for and this wasn’t expensive. Bought for grandchildren and they’re very happy and the transfer pictures are varied…

Herramientas muy útiles para halloween, los niños pueden participar también, las calabazas nos quedaron de cine y viene con muchas plantillas que se pueden reutilizar. Puedes pasar una tarde estupenda con los niños (con supervisión)
