Panda Luxury Memory Foam Bamboo Pillow

Used this pillow for a few weeks following a new bed. I was always put off the expense but finally went with it and glad I did!The pillow is thick and firm but once your on it then it will allow you to settle in, moving is fine as it retains its shape quickly. It’s easily preferred over my last pillows, normally duck or goose feather. I prefer a really firm pillow and this suits perfectly.Not sure how much it has changed my sleep with a new bed and mattress but it’s worth the money so far.Only downsides so far it I would like it thicker or deeper it’s just off perfect for me so do have it on another pillow at times but am aware you can get thicker memory foam pillows. The other minor is the shape, it’s slightly smaller than normal pillows so cases I have don’t fit at well but I can get more.

When l first bought this pillow l hated it. I was used to down filled pillows, but due to getting shoulder pain l thought l needed to change to a firmer pillow. The manufacturers encouraged a trial period so l thought l had nothing to lose.Initially, l found it too hard, so made efforts to return it - however the manufacturer got in touch and encouraged me to keep it a little longer and make use of the trial period. I therefore kept it, but didn't persevere with it and it ended up on the spare bed (where it stayed unused for months). A couple of months back l decided to give the Panda pillow another try and l am so glad l did!This pillow has got rid of my chronic shoulder pain. It's great to turn in the night as it keeps its shape and doesnt need to be "bunched up". It also stays cool and the cover is very soft. The pillow has now softened slightly, but remains supportive without being too firm. It gently moulds around your head. It's also great as a back pillow for reading in bed. I have therefore gone from using 2 down pillows to using one Panda. I now love it and even take it with me when travelling. I highly recommend this pillow. I suggest learning from my mistakes...give yourself a little time to adjust to this pillow, you will be glad you did!

Product arrived in a large box as it is not vacuum packed. 2 large foam pillows at a good price. These are quite firm and may not be to everyone’s taste especially if you like to sink your head into it, which I do. But having used it for a while now the firmness is not really an issue and can still allow you a good nights sleep. They are on the large side and do take some effort to fit into the case, but again not to much of an issue . All in all we would recommend these.

++++ UPDATE 06.02.19: I have been using the pillow for a month now and I only realised the other day that I haven’t needed any afternoon naps for my fatigue (i would need a nap every afternoon and sleep for 2/3hrs at a time and still wake unrefreshed). The only thing that has change is my pillow so I’m assuming it’s that, as my health condition is genetic and will sadly not improve. My sleep hygiene has stayed the same, so I’m guessing because I’m getting a more comfortable nights sleep without tossing and turning I’m getting better sleep quality. I’ve also noticed with previous pillows I would go to sleep on my side with my neck and head in an upright position, only to wake up still laying on my side but with my neck and head having rolled forward so my head is more towards the bottom corner of the pillow. The Panda pillow keeps my head from rolling forward and my neck aligned correctly. Apparently if your head rolls forward and your neck is curved when you sleep on your side, and not aligned properly it can contribute to headaches and migraines +++This pillow is an absolute game changer for me. I have a genetic disease called Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. That comes with joint pain, joint dislocations, and super flexibility of all my joints, including my neck. My neck is basically a lump of knotted muscles etc as it’s trying to support the weight of my head, so I need a decent pillow. I have to be careful with which pillow I use because of the alignment of my neck is crucial. It’s a standing joke between myself my sister and my dad as we all have neck issues so have gone through so many pillows between us to try! Lol. So having discovered this pillow recently I’ve never really had a decent nights sleep and woken up with neck and shoulder pain, and not feeling refreshed. Saw the reviews and ignored the ones that said it smelt, and thank god I did!!It arrived on the Friday so I aired it overnight that night, then took the cover off the next morning and aired it near the fire (not too near obviously) then slept on it that night. I couldn’t believe it. Every night I normally spend tossing and turning (I’m a side sleeper, with the occasional back sleep thrown in for good measure), just trying to get comfy. Very rarely will I sleep on the same side for more than 1hr (I clock watch when I turn over in bed) but the first night I tried it I slept in the same position for 5hrs on one side, then turned over!I also woke up refreshed (which I never normally do).I struggle to regulate my body temp, and always worry that memory foam will be too hot on my face, but the bamboo cover helps with that. I love that when you do turn over or reposition yourself the memory foam quickly bounces back into shape quicker than previous memory foam pillows I’ve tried, so it’s easy to get comfy quickly again. It also doesn’t squash down into a hard lump (like some memory foam does) I’m guessing it’s from the 3 layers of memory foam and not just one block.I no longer wake up with neck or shoulder pain, my spine feels aligned when sleeping. I’ve also recommended this to friends and family who have also bought one to try.I did then buy an extra pillow case to have one in the wash and one being used.I cannot fault this pillow at all and I’m so glad I found it. It does smell a bit weird at first when you open the packaging, but if you air it right it soon goes. Then you’re left with an amazingly comfortable pillow. I actually look forward to going to sleep now instead of dreading the pain and tossing and turning trying to get comfy. The only downside now is I don’t want to get out of bed on a morning!!! 😂😂

Great quality and very comfortable

I was very skeptical about buying a pillow without being able to try it out and all that but I'm very pleased with this pillow as a side sleeper. I'm getting good sleep and it seems to be helping my neck pain too. Initially I thought it might be too soft when I got it out of the box but it seems just right for me and I didn't think it had any funny smell as some people have said.
