PRODUCT IS AWFUL, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. PURCHASE FROM APPLE THEMSELVES
On the 9th of May 2018, I purchased this product from the above seller. Before purchasing the product, a colleague named Ralana told me I had two years warranty so I purchased it with full confident. I was having multiple issues with the laptop overheating, making a tik noise, shutting down abruptly and crashing. I eventually contacted the seller on the 1/02/2019 at 12:55:28. The seller told me to contact Apple, that was their only response. After contacting Apple the issue was still ongoing, in April my family member had symptoms of COVID-19 and I and my whole family isolated. This affected everyone mentally and physically in my household. So, my first priority was not to get my laptop fixed because my family members health and mine was far more important to me and I had the belief that Amazon would be able to understand that. Clearly not, now I am left with a broken product!!! SELLER IS AWFUL SHAME ON THEM AND AMAZON. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Another great MacBook from Apple
Lovely new Mac at a good price, another great product from apple. It's speedy and so much lighter than my old MacBook Pro! Although this has the smallest hard drive capacity of the MacBook Pro range it's really not a problem for myself despite using it for graphic and web design purposes. Due to the reduction in size and weight of the laptop there are now only two ports on the left handside of the computer with a headphone jack on the right. This means that for anyone needing to plug in anything other than a charger (eg. USB, memory cards, external disk driver etc.) You'll need to purchase a separate USB hub. Despite the description stating this is the UK version, the laptop we received has the US keyboard layout. The battery is proving impressive so far, and came with a decent charge so didn't need to plug it in before getting on with setting it up. The laptop was sent well packaged however we did have some issues with delivery. After the item didn't arrive by the suggested date and contacting the seller we were told it would arrive four days later, which leads me to believe the item wasn't despatched when we were told it was. The seller did however respond quickly to our queries, despite amazon email notifications suggesting that the message hadn't got through. We asked for a tracking number but the seller was unable to provide this, which for a product of this value is something I think is definitely necessary for buyers piece of mind. Overall I'm happy with the product, despite a few hiccups along the way.

Best computer I’ve ever used
Bought this on Black Friday this year, been brilliant ever since. I am a student in first year at university and needed a laptop that’ll last me the next 4 years studying plus anything else I might need - this MacBook is perfect. Everything is seamless, works perfectly and quickly although some features and programs take a while to work out how they work and to unlock their full potential.

Great laptop
I use this laptop for work when I can't be at my desk. I can lie the lid and start writing almost anywhere. It's well-connected and well-made. But I only own it because of a Black Friday deal from Amazon which dropped the price just enough for a few hours. Excellent!

Last Mac I ever buy
Had this for almost a year now and I wish I'd never bought the damned thing. Everything is a constant hassle, and I've ended up buying a windows machine a few months back and relegating the Mac to position as a backup device. And still, when I have to use it, I'm driven mad within the space of a few hours with all the things that need a special Mac workaround. Biggest waste of money ever.

This MacBook is decent I like it a lot. yes it is expensive but that is because of apple not amazon so this is why its getting a 5 star rather than a 4 star. laptop is powerful and faster... just don't game on it. APPLE IS NOT FOR GAMING

Maybe the most refined Mac notebook yet?
Have always loved Apple products, and this one of the most sophisticated so far....a powerful creative tool! Will be using it mainly for DAW purposes; but also a portable, wi-for substitute for my older Mac tabletop
