VitaLink 02-050-105 10L Clay Pebbles Bag, Grey

Ordered these because Id been using gravel clippings at the bottom & on top of my pots. not only is it really annoying if you need to change something& disturb the gravel, leaving a mess but also it’s heavy & it hurts my hands. These were the only thing I could find on prime that didn’t cost the earth. I don’t know why I have never used them before, I love them. I picked the bag up half expecting it to be heavy & nearly knocked myself out. They are so light. They are smooth & don’t hurt your fingers & they are also really easy to use-if you need to move them, you can without causing a mess. No faffing about cleaning & draining 15 times to get them ready. They made my usual planting chaos much easier & less of a work out. I’m sold on these bad boys. The only point I’d make is if you’re using in the top & bottom of pots, don’t just buy 1 bag, the bag isn’t huge &they don’t stretch as far as you’d imagine. (I added some upturned plants pots to my bigger pots with a few pebbles so it saves onboth pebbles & compost)

Good quality

Chunky grey pebbles, not the more usual neat round reddish-brown sort. Suitable for all but the most delicate of root systems. They work perfectly well even though they’re not quite as aesthetically pleasing. Considering they’re about half the price of the other sort, I’m happy (and so are my plants!).

Does the job

Bought the clay peddles following advice on using them from a self watering system we bought to use in our polytunel. No make was specific mentioned we just choose these. They arrived promptly which was what we needed.

Un Kentia pour mon anniversaire, il fallait le rempoter. ce fut chose faite et avec les billes d'argile en fond de pot, impeccable. j'ai d'autres rempotages à faire alors les billes seront les bienvenues. Produit excellent !!!

È la seconda volta che acquisto questo prodotto e lo ritengo ottimo sopratutto per quanto riguarda il rapporto qualità/prezzo Il pacco è grande e si può utilizzare per parecchi vasi Ormai io metto argilla sul fondo di ogni vaso ed è molto utile per evitare ristagni di acqua Le mie piante trovano questo prodotto davvero eccezionale.
