Why does this product have to contain potassium sorbet?  also why does it have to contain alcohol (ethanol and glycerol) also aloe vera & vit e.  why please?

Accepted Answer

Potassium sorbate is a preservative to stop the growth of moulds or yeasts and thus increase the shelf life.  If you are sensitive to any synthetic preservatives and so wish to avoid this then I would suggest you eat whole fruits and veg organically grown and get your Vit C that way.  You may also like to try adding raw cultured vegetables  to your diet as not only are they naturally high in Vit C but they are already enzyme activated making them highly bioavailable to the body i.e. easy to absorb.  Its not what you eat its what you absorb that makes the difference.  Alcohol is also a preservative and so if you are sensitive to alcohol e.g. have any liver disorders then avoid this. Vit E is an antioxidant and aloe vera sloths the digestive tract, neither are to be of concern and intact improve the taste of the supplement naturally.  I hope this helps. Hello, the last bottle I bought said it should be refridgerated after opening. The new bottle doesn't state this. Which is it & why the sudden change?

Does this product contain bioflavonoids (in addition to ascorbic acid); ascorbic acid *without* bioflavonoids is NOT the best form of vit c to take?

This is not a simple vit C avec bioflavonoids. Is liposomal, englobed in liposomes, so it doesn't still needs bioflavonoids to enter the cellules. This product is better than simple vit C with bioflavonoides.
