Squid Brand Fish Sauce 725 ml (Pack of 2)

As someone who loves cooking Thai food, this fish sauce is invaluable. No fish sauce smells great and this is no exception, however it imparts a slightly sweet, salty, authentic flavour to any dish you use it in. It is my favourite of all fish sauces I have used, and it's great value for money as these bottles are much larger than those you can purchase in a supermarket. It is also excellent for adding depth to tomato-based sauces - try a little in Italian ragu/bolognese sauce, really brings out the flavour wonderfully. My mother is part Italian and always uses a small amount of anchovies in her ragu, I use this instead as then I don't have to open a jar!

Great flavour in small doses. I use this for some of my Asian soups and for lots of other uses: to make a sauce for spring rolls, to make a fish bouillon if I have no fresh fish bones, rice dishes e.t.c. Doesn't have to be purely for Asian food. An essential for most days

Love this product and use it in virtually any dish including pasta bolognese curry and paella. Large bottle really economical for use good price too

Nice but no great fish sauce (Squid).

We love this stuff. I put it in my Thai and Chineae food, i even add it to my Home made Paella. I wasnt aware that you got 2 bottles in the deal. Bargain, it costs me around £2.50 when i buy the same brand from Tesco so this is buy one get one free. Thanks for the deal :)

Not the absolute best but I always like to have some around.

Squid Brand is all I ever use, add to most cooking, same as bottles purchased from Chinese supermarket, well in date, and delivered super quick

Also ich bin super zufrieden mit dem Produkt, es kam einen Tag früher als angegeben und da es ein doppel Set war hab ich auch noch Geld gespart als wenn ich sie einzeln gekauft hätte 👍🏻

Schön fischig-gammlig im Geschmack, genau so, wie man es von einer Fischsauce erwartet!

Jeder, der sich mit asiatischer Küche beschäftigt, der weiß, Fischsoße ist nicht gleich Fischsoße. Die Soße von Squid ist nicht umsonst für ihre gute Qualität und den guten, ausgewogenen Geschmack bekannt. Dazu der faire Preis. Absolut empfehlenswert!

über den Geschmack dieser Fischsauce kann ich leider noch nichts sagen da ich vorher eine andere benutzt habe
