A friend recommended I use African black soap and after researching it online I found that there are a lot of fake black soaps which are basically bars of that nasty hand soap that dry your hands out but dyed black. This fits all the criteria of genuine African black soap, first of all.Some of the comments complain that it hurts their skin or doesn't last very long but I was desperate so I bought it. I've been using it for about a month now and I have basically stopped getting pimples, so all I am left with is red marks that are also rapidly fading. I still have a fair few cystic acne spots, although they are better than before, so if your main concern is cystic acne this might not be the solution. If you mostly suffer with scars, blackheads, and/or whiteheads, big pores and oily skin this is absolutely a godsend. I went from using multiple expert recommended natural/sensitive skin products that cost about £50 in total to just this guy... And improved drastically!As for it not lasting very long, I have quite hard water that makes it difficult to get things to lather but an absolutely tiny chip of a couple millimetres is easily enough to wash my whole face. Make sure you keep it dry and instead of applying it directly to your face just break off a tiny bit, lather it in your hands with water and apply the foam to your face.

Love this soap. I use it to shave and even wash my hair. Its loaded with oils therefore wouldnt use it to wash my hair on a daily basis but do use it in the shower daily. It goes a long way if used correctly. You just need to crumble away the amount you need from the block, lather the soap in your hand and use the creamy lather to wash with not the bar itself. Store the rest of the bar, keep it dry. It will last longer. Can make the bath slippery but so do most moisturising products. Skin feels soft after use. Meant to be authentic. No odour as such. Unperfumed.

i have always liked African black soap an it does what its suppose too,This does not make my skin as dry as another one i have used,but i am very unhappy that I've only used it a few times an its melting away, it goes really soft and mushy and within 2 seconds of opening it it was falling apart, As a seller i really think you should take into consideration what your buyers are telling you as I'm not the first person to state this, and if i had seen the reviews stating it falls apart i would not have purchased it. It isn't cheap either the average black soap is about 99p in beauty stores and last quite a while but this is £2.99 plus delivery falls apart fast and doesn't last long. I would ONLY buy again if the product would hold together better and last longer. Good product just needs little improvements.

I love this soap. It is very drying but seems to do the trick!I break the bar in to small chunks and roll in to small balls of soap and work through them to make it last longer. Certainly made a difference for me - but be warned it is made to dry your skin, which is great for spots but can make sensitive areas of skin or even your hands feel quite dry. using once a day is enough for me, but others may want to use more/less.

This product works like a healing balm for ailments like eczema and skin blemishes. For anyone sensitive to perfumed products, this is a natural and holistic product which should cause no harm. If anyone who uses this product is fussy about having the bubbles in their bath right to the very end - this is not the product for them! Oh, and also, if you're particular about the colour of your bath water after use - again it's not the product for you! But, if you want a first class, natural, holistic and organic product, you can't go wrong with this.

Brilliant stuff! I was sure I noticed a difference in how bright my skin was after the first use. Then other people said how pretty my skin looked, then I was 100% sure it's making a difference! I find it does dry my skin after use, however I moisturise after washing my face anyway so that doesn't bother me. It does break apart while using, again not a big problem... Really like using it!

Really disappointed with this purchase. I made the mistake of purchasing this for a second time and again it is just a lot of lather and nothing more. Compared to other brands - for me, it does not cleanse like the others. I feel I need to shower 3 x times a day when I use this brand. I thought I would try another brand but going back to my original brand. No value for money. I did laugh at the actually size when I unwrapped the packaging. The image is very deceiving indeed. I would not waste my money I am afraid.

I struggle with oily skin and black heads and within two days you could see a significant improvement in my skin. I also use this to wash under my armpits and I have noticed that it helps control any body odour. It really is a great natural product to use and next time I will be ordering more! - I suggest you break of a piece and keep it in a soap dish until it runs out to help with the longevity of the product!

He de decir que me encanta este jabón, llevo solo unos días usándolo pero me noto la piel más hidratada y me deja una textura suave que me gusta mucho. Otra cosa que destacaría es su olor tan natural y sin nada de perfume!Recomendable!

Ce savon est vraiment au top pour ma peau mixte (peau noire), il en suffit de peu et il n’agresse pas ma peau non plus. Je l’utilise avec ma brosse clarisonic et mon teint est parfait. Nettoie très bien sans agressé et il dure longtemps (à utiliser avec un porte savon ouvert). Je le rachèterais quand j’aurais fini le mien
