Do I need to waterproof my item after washing with this product?.

Your item should alread be waterproof if you are using this granger performance wash that is what it is for to wash waterproof items

Is this suitable for a padded jacket with a fleece lining?

Hi I used this on my lightly padded coat and it worked but it means the coat also keeps in moisture now too

Can you clean gortex walking shoes with it?

Well if you put your gortex walking shoes in the washing machine to clean them then yes I would add it to you washing machine. I suppose you could also put the Grangers performance wash in a bucket with water and have a go at washing them with water and a brush, but remember to put washing gloves on,
