Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather Cream, Transparent, 100 ml

The hype surrounding leather conditioners/waterproofing is amazing, sadly the reality is not so good as many of the products and not very effective and even some that are are not very durable.To be completely honest there are only 3 products that I really trust. This is one of them (the other two are Grangers' paste (better than their G Wax) and Balistol Oil.This is a relatively ease to apply treatment and works well (vastly superior to all the “spray on” types that I have tried). It does not noticeably soften the leather and is much more durable than many of the alternatives that I have tried.It can be applied to both wet and dry leather and personally it seems just as effective which ever method is used.Be aware that if it has been in storage for sometime then initially it will run out like a liquid. The best way to solve this issue is to shake the tube vigorously until the contents reform to a toothpaste like constituency.

I used it for a pair of black leather boots and it seems fine. I originally bought it for my desert boots, but read on the label that it is not to be used on suede or Nubuck, which the desert boots are.

Great for my walking boots

This has been brilliant on my walking boots protecting them from all the recent wet weather. Tried to reapply but obviously didn't need to as it just slid off so it lasts well and is excellent value for money.

The product itself works very well. It has extended the life of my hiking boots and keeps them really waterproof.Unfortunately the foam sponge applicator came off so I just have to squirt it on to my boots and rub it in with my fingers. A bit of an unnecessary mess!

Always the best stuff to use for waterproofing my golf shoes. Non of the products ever make the shoes 100% waterproof though, or at least not as waterproof as the shoes were out of the box. But it does help

Seems good product just waiting for it to rain.
