hi, is this machine worth a risk? its off putting that alot of people are saying theirs have broken after a month or 2,is the company replacing them?

Mine works very well: didn't break yet and I have used it almost daily for 6 months. It's worth trying as I did. I also got a referral to my GP to the hospital to discuss my condition (different muscles are involved and it's important to use this item only if muscles are loose and not too tights as mine). So now I don't use it anymore and I have a small tablet that I take daily and my problem is completely solved: I feel I have my life back and I feel great again. But I would advise you to try this item, see how it goes and after 3 or 4 months if not solved, go to see your GP; they are used to deal with this condition that is so common and very treatable. How big is the probe and has anyone had problems inserting it?

Hello, The probe is only about 3inches long and there is absolutely no problem with insertion. You have to use lubrication and its just straight forward. I have had no problems at all. Sometimes it says there is trouble with leads but this is just due to there being not enough lubrication on the probe. Just experiment and all will be fine. Barbara x

Is the device noisy?Could I use it discreetly in a hotel bedroom?

It is not noisy at all. No buzzing nothing. There is just very small beep when you switch it on and when the programme finishes. However, this is no more than a really quiet beep. I changed the the Tens Elise because of the problems I had with itouch and that doesn't make any noise when the programme finishes. They are discreet and you won't regret buying I am sure.
