ANKER AK-A6035021 – Battery for Samsung Galaxy Note 4, 3220 mAh with NFC/Google Wallet

This is a really good product. I purchased a second hand Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and upon arrival found the battery performance was below what I'd expect for a basically new phone. I was prompted by a friend to try Anker batteries, as they provide very reliable batteries. I purchased the battery at a very sensible price, and it arrived in nice slim packaging with the battery neatly packed inside. After a month’s use, the battery is still superb; it will last the full day with general use, however prolonged use will drain the battery quicker (fortunately the Anker battery does accept fast-charge, and so within roughly 45 minutes your up and running again!). Pros • Perfect compatibility with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (see picture of Anker battery and Standard issue battery). • Very reasonable price, with quick and fast delivery. • Good warranty (I can’t remember specifically what Anker offer, though I know they did offer it). • Seems to be reliable (I have abused the battery at times, leaving it charging at night and letting it run completely out, yet still performs well Cons • No particular cons, everything seems as it should be, hence 5 star. Can’t fault the product!

Purchased to replace a tired and under-performing stock battery on my Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910F). My original battery had all the classic signs of being worn out, not lasting as long as it used to, eratic battery readings, and the phone shutting down with a 'flat' battery while the phone was still reading 12% battery etc. Decided not to try and buy a Samsung branded battery as there are so many fakes about, and some of them are quite frankly dangerous. I have a number of Anker Products and have personally never been disappointed, so I was happy when I stumbled across this product pretty much by accident. (I didn't know Anker made replacement phone batteries). Trusting Anker as I do, it was a no brainer for me - this was the battery I needed. As always with Anker, the product comes nicely packaged! I must agree with the other reviewers that this battery is a tighter fit than the stock battery - i can only guess it must be ever so slightly taller - perhaps by something as slight as a single millimeter, but it definitely doesn't slot into place as easily as the stock battery. Having said that, if you're reading this, I don't want you to be concerned about this; it certainly doesn't require any risky amount of force to fit it - you will just notice that fit is more snug than that stock battery that's all. In terms of how it's working in my phone - well, my phone is like new again! No complaints whatsoever. I appreciate that most would prefer to get an original Samsung accessory, but I honestly believe this, in a lot of cases is a safer bet. The product you receive definitely won't be some cheap knock off pretending to be made by Samsung, but you will instead receive a quality 3rd party battery from a reputable manufacturer.

I would give this review 6 stars if I could (more of that later). I wanted a few replacement batteries, before batteries for this phone are 'no longer available'. It's already difficult to find 'genuine' batteries. I paid close to £30 a for replacement battery from Samsung and they very rarely have them in stock. So after reading the reviews for the Anker, I decided to go for one of these. It works well but at one point, when I first put the battery in, I thought the phone was heating up. It's fine now. Works perfectly. No problems. I do think the battery needs charging more often than the orginal was when new and I'm not a particularly heavy user. But it's still a good, genuine battery. The battery arrived nicely packaged. When I did think there was a problem I contacted Anker. They were quick to respond. Their replies were apologetic, polite and helpful (fancy that, no 'buck-passing'). For that reason alone I would buy their products. I want good service before and AFTER I have made a purchase from a company. There are a increasing number of companies that don't give a '4 x' after you've given them your money. Anker were excellent. The 6th star would be for Anker's customer service. Other retailers should take note. Good product, good customer service = loyal customers.

Really happy with the staying power of this battery but I think I might have a dud. I was getting random camera crashes and missed a few irriplaceable shots. The crash was so severe only a battery pull would fix it. Researching this problem pointed at battery so reluctantly changed back to the original battery and have not had any camera crash incidents since. I hope this is just me. UPDATE Anker got straight in touch and sent me a replacement battery, which works as expected, great Customer service! I am not sure if it is me but if I hammer the camera repeatedly taking shots I can crash it as before, but this is not a real life situation. Been using the new battery as my primary one since and all has been great. Thanks for sorting this out.

Was looking for a replacement battery for my NOTE 4 (now 3 years old) as the original had, somehow cracked a bit, and was not holding charge (from 100% quickly went down to 80% - and then would shut off at either 20% or 16% - very irritating). It also used to get very hot while operating and charging. I had looked at many batteries, including getting a so-called "like OEM" one - which did not do the job. After reading through all the reviews - i though - WHAT THE HECK - LETS GIVE THIS A TRY. And....I am impressed. The battery remains cool under normal operation - even while playing a game, and the charge is maintained. The battery is FAST CHARGE compatible - so it charges within an hour or so - which is great. And unlike the original SAMSUNG Battery - this replacement remains cool while charging (where as the original used to get hot). The battery now last almost day and half of normal usage (there was a day where it nearly lasted 24 hours with 10% left). Now, the only thing left is how to make the NOTE 4 faster - haha :-) All I can say is Well done ANKER - for another great product. I am even thinking of getting a spare. If you are in the market for a replacement battery for your NOTE4 - you be silly not to get this.

--- UPDATE 18/03/17 --- I will leave my original review below so others can read it and see what I was faced with initially when I had purchased this product. However, I wanted to update my review with a brief note to talk about the Anker customer support team. While not specific to the product itself, the Anker team went above and beyond to try and rectify the issue I was facing. They reached out to me on email and after the initial replies getting lost in an inbox we finally were able to connect on a common email chain. I explained the problem, provided the serial number of the original battery I purchased and the team went out of their way to issue a replacement to be delivered with no hesitation. Many thanks to the Anker team for stellar customer support. As I type this update I've been using the replacement for about 13 days and the phone has been behaving itself. I will once again update this review again with information as to the performance of the battery when I've used it for a long enough time period. --------------------- --- ORIGINAL REVIEW --- As with many users here I have bought this as a replacement to my ageing original Samsung N910F battery. At time of writing, I've had this battery for about three weeks and have used it as my only power source during that time. It holds its charge fairly well, I'm getting longer life out of my phone compared to the 2+ year old official battery, unfortunately that is where the positives for this Anker battery end. In fact, I'm not sure if this is a positive as I'd expect any new third party battery would have better life than a two year old original. I've noticed that this battery seriously affects daily phone performance, after reading some of the reviews I see I'm not the only one with this problem. Having followed the instructions provided, fitted and charged the battery prior to first use I am rarely able to go a day without the need to restart my phone, pull the battery, turn the phone off for an extended period of time or exit all background apps. The phone itself is regularly suffering black screens, random reboots, daily lockups and unresponsiveness. Most recently I've noticed a lot of stuttering when doing the most simple of tasks e.g. playing a song, and has even started to force close apps. Frustratingly, when the phone reaches the point where it starts to stutter and struggle you'd expect to be able to fix the issue by rebooting / closing all apps but by that point it's too late. The phone is already so unresponsive that you're better off pulling the battery. This has now not only become a frustrating daily occurrence, but more importantly a total waste of my money since there battery life doesn't matter if you can't use your phone. AVOID

Had this battery less than 3 months. At first it was pretty good with a good battery life but although this charges very quickly it now lasts as long as my 18 month old original Samsung albeit does not switch off at 20%! Disappointed. Update _ Anker customer service were great having sent me a replacement battery and are eager to know how well I fared with my new battery. To be honest the new battery was as good as the last one I received. Under heavy use it suffers a fair bit. Moderate to heavy use I get about 6-8 hours usage before I need to recharge so if you feel this is a good amount then by all means go for it. I remember my original Galaxy Note 4 battery lasting at least 12 hours on the same usage when it was new however, but to purchase one of these would cost a heck of a lot more. I have upgraded my rating to a 3 as possibly I was being too harsh in my initial review of a 2 star.

I'm ten weeks in and this battery is holding up like a good'un. I purchased it to replace the original Note 4 battery that was causing the phone to switch off while still displaying 40% power left and then saying it had 0% on the reboot. There were so many fake original batteries about that I would struggle to find a genuine, so like many others I opted for a good third party battery. Some commenters mentioned that the battery was slightly bigger than the original and it was a tight fit. This may or may not be true, as I have not compared it to the original battery, but I had no trouble fitting this Anker battery in to my Note 4. It's a good, snug fit - no need to force it, and no chance of it falling out. The battery powers my phone all day, I now have at least 30% left at the end of the day and that's with several hours internet use, a couple of phone calls and a bit of light gaming. The battery level indicator is accurate, and it doesn't just shut down prematurely like my old knackered battery did - it will gradually lose power from 100% to less than 1% before shutting down. I just hope I get a full year or two out of it before I need to get another one. I will update this review when/if I experience a problem.

Para no ser samsung no tiene nada que envidiar va fantastica además viene con carga inalambrica sin ninguna duda volveré sI me hace falta una batería a esta marca tng varias cosas de ellos y no tengo queja DESPUÉS DE POCOS MESES DE USO la batería a dejado de funcionar bien el móvil se apaga y se descarga rápidamente asín una desilusión No hay manera de encontrar una decente ni la de samsung me valen ya y el dispositivo dicen que funciona bien no tiene ningun fallo.....

Der erste Akku schien einen Fehler zu haben. Wenn ich das Handy in der Hosetasche hatte, ging es irgendwann einfach aus und zum Starten musste ich den Akku einmal raus nehmen und wieder einlegen. Sonst lies sich das Handy nicht starten. Habe draufhin den Verkäufer angeschrieben und das Problem geschildert. Dieser schicke mir sofort einen neuen Akku und war wirklich sehr zuvorkommend. Brauchte den Alten auch nicht zurückschicken. Der neue Akku hat diesen Fehler nicht und funktioniert einwandfrei. Der verkäufer fragte sogar nochmal nach, ob jetzt alles in Ordnung ist. Wirklich sehr guter Kundenservice - da könnten sich manche ne Scheibe abschneiden.

Alors voilà après quelques jours d'utilisation je suis vraiment content de cette batterie je dirai qu'elle tient peut-être même plus que l'original j'arrive à tenir une bonne journée en utilisation intensive. Réseaux sociaux, vidéos, internet, appel et messages. Donc pour vous dire si je suis en weekend, que je me lève vers 10 h 30 je vais utiliser le téléphone à plusieurs reprises dans la journée avec une durée d'utilisation plus ou moins importantes et je tiendrai bien jusqu'à 23 h 00, 00 h 00 après si vous avez une journée qui va durer jusqu'à 3, 7 h du matin bien évidemment qu'elle ne tiendra pas jusque là. Pour ma part j'ai avec moi une batterie externe que j'emporte avec moi, et quand une journée dure plus longtemps que prévu et que je n'ai pas de prise murale pour le recharger je prend ma batterie externe et ça peux être très utile quand on a un besoin urgent de batterie. Donc en récapitulatif bonne batterie qui tient une bonne journée en utilisation intensive donc de 10 h 30 à peu près jusqu'à 23 h 00, 00 h 00 ça tiendra sans problème. Elle ne surchauffe pas du moins pas plus de l'original et elle doit mettre quelques minutes en plus pour se recharger mais comme je le charge la nuit je n'ai pas de problème à se niveau là. Voilà j’espère vous avoir convaincu à acheter cette batterie qui est juste génial et même au niveau qualité prix c'est vraiment pas chère :)

Acquistata per ricambio al cellulare della mia compagna, un samsung galaxy note 4. La sua vecchia batteria era oramai morta, necessitava di un cambio. Avendo già provato prodotti Anker (cavi e caricabatterie) ho deciso di provare anche una batteria. E' davvero equivalente all'originale. Packaging perfetto, scatola retail completa di informazioni e istruzioni. La batteria ha NFC, si vede molto bene l'antenna essendo la plastica di copertura bianca. Ne ho purtroppo dovute acquistare due, la prima arrivata era danneggiata. Non so se durante il trasporto in questi giorni molto caldi o se in magazzino la plastica di copertura si era scollata e si era incollata al case in plastica presente nella confezione. Andando a sfilarla si è strappata l'antenna NFC. Ho subito richiesto il reso e ordinato una nuova. Ovviamente era perfetta e l'ho subito messa nel telefono. Ho già fatto i primi cicli di ricarica e sembra comportarsi molto bene. Si conferma la bontà e la qualità del marchio Anker. Continuerò ad acquistare senza alcun dubbio!

Mon Note 4 commençait à déconner, au final cela s'est traduit par un changement de carte mère sous garantie. Avant d'en arrivait là je soupçonnait la batterie et j'avais acheté celle-ci en remplacement de celle d'origine. Lorsque j'ai renvoyé le téléphone au service de réparation agréé par Samsung (CEAT ELectronique), ils m'ont renvoyé un devis me demandant de changer la batterie car "non conforme" (24 euros). J'ai d'abord pensé que c'était juste une contrainte commerciale, mais j'ai posé la question et on m'a dit de relire la feuille de diagnostics sur laquelle figurait : "la batterie échoue au tests". Je ne sais trop qu'en penser mais apparemment ils ont des bancs de tests pour batterie et celle-ci ne se comporterait pas comme celle d'origine. C'est peut-être juste le temps de chargement ou la puissance moyenne délivrée, ce qui n'est pas très important, mais j'ai cru bon de le signaler ici.
