Can the deadbolt be rekeyed to match the lower lock key the style is the older key not a smart key

Yes, if it’s a KW1 Five pin key, only the cylinder that comes with this Lock has five chambers not six only five, but you can replace the cylinder with GMS Rim Cylinder - 1-1/8" - 5 Drilled 6 Pin - US26D - Satin chrome then you can pin it to a six pin, key

If I have a standard knob and deadbolt, do I need to order a separate knob to operate this deadbolt??

You only need the existing door knob as the Kwikset will service as your deadbolt.

When it is locked, is the interior side locked as well? I have a glass back door and I want both sides to be engaged when locked.

When this lockset be locked , the interior side be locked as well. When you be in interior side, you can turn the button to open the door, too

It unlocks , but won't lock, what am i missing?

All you need to do to lock is push the top button and it will lock. Don't need a code or anything...
