Does this go white and tacky after a while on the lash band like other brands?

It does goes white sadly but not as white as many of the others I've found. This glue still sticks the best out of any other eyelash glue so I'm prepared to put up with the white because I've not found any eyelashe glue that doesn't doesn't go white!! At least this sticks your eyelashes
