The Kids' Book of Crosswords 2 (Buster Puzzle Books)

Haven't looked at this yet but my 8yo really enjoyed the first book so hoping this is much the same. Handy for practicing reading & spelling and a good way to wind down before going to sleep.

Great stimulation and not too hard for my 9 year old, he enjoys doing a few as part of his bedtime routine

Lots of fun working through these with my child.

I bought this as some extra spelling practice for my 10 year old who has a great vocabulary and is working hard on spellings. It is great and was received really positively-he was so pleased and got doing some straight away. His brother also wants one! What is really good is that they start small with a few clues and build up; which means he can finish a crossword in a fairly small time frame.

This is a perfect crossword book for whose who enjoy crosswords, quick and simple.

I had enjoyed doing Book 1 of the crosswords with my grandson (13 yrs) getting up to the last 'Ace' difficulty. I decided he could cope with slightly more difficult crosswords i.e Ace upwards and assumed Book 2 would be a bit more difficult. But Book 2 has the same range of difficulty as Book 1. So we can tackle the Ace range in this book but mostly too easy for him now so I should have checked that out.

My daughter loved book 1 of this series so couldn’t wait to start book 2 but there are quite a lot of repeated clues. She still enjoys doing it but it’s a shame there wasn’t completely new material

good size for kids, easy to use - the book pages are sturdy enough to take a ball point pen. a felt pen might seep through. good for travelling
