DRUNK ELEPHANT Umbra sheer physical daily defense sunscreen SPF30 90ml

I should start off by saying I'm a brown skinned person of the Asian variety. The only negative of this product is the white sheen it leaves on your face for hours after application. You can mitigate this somewhat by rubbing it across your face quickly but would need to be done very quick with full concentration. Can't dilly dally with this product but even then does not fully remove the sheen.On to the positives. This is by far the best sunscreen product I've used. Sun protection is a given but it also has incredible anti inflammatory properties and complements my anti hyperpigmentation routine very well. Even with the white sheen, the skin gets a very natural "glow up" effect when in the sun, and looks\feels amazing for days after washing it out. It really is an excellent skin care product.

Love it and I keep coming back to it. I would be the happiest if they found a solution to the greasy finish it leaves, and perhaps a tinted product as well. Other than that, i'm more than happy with the ingredients and the way the product applies.

Really lovely product, rubs on skin easily and has a soft moisturising finish to it. It leaves a very slight white tinge on the skin but I think it is quite illuminating so don't mind this.I have very sensitive skin on my face due to nerve damage and this product does not irritate this which is often a problem for me. It is a tad too expensive I feel. I would buy it again buy possibly not as often as would like due to the cost.

I bought the cream some time ago, but started using it a few days ago, when the days started to be really sunny. We were going for a hike and I took the tube with me, and, BEFORE the walk took it out of my bag, to find the tube broken and the cream all over my things! The seam of the tube just opened... A lot got wasted in the bag, other things got dirty (dont even want to go there!). Im so disappointed and angry. It was a really expensive cream!I want to get a refund!

Fantastic sunscreen. Not as heavy feeling as most others I've tried in a "natural" range. absorbs quickly and doesn't "sweat". Really looking forward to trying other products in the range when they become more affordable in the UK.

this is the only physical defense i can use without irritation, will definatley buy again

Great product, texture is very thick which works on my very dry skin. The smell is pretty strong though. I may opt for a product with a milder smell in the future.

La fecha de vencimiento no es adecuada (hasta octubre de 2021) que ordené a fines de febrero. La crema deja un rostro pegajoso y un fuerte brillo graso.

As someone with very pale, oily skin, I am very picky about my sunscreens - I've tried a lot! I did a lot of research on the highest coverage and this was recommended.I want to give it 4.5 stars because I think this formula is really excellent. It's really hard to find 20% zinc oxide sunscreen, which many people who really care about protecting their skin consider to be the highest, safest protection. (Be sure to read ingredients on sunscreens, I'm shocked how little coverage some expensive brands actually have). And given that it's DE there are some lovely, high-quality, soothing, moisturizing ingredients too - which do seem to have added benefits for my skin. My skin just feels more supple, and gloweyThe half a star off would be because it does leave a slight white cast. Not enough to make me not use it (I do already have very fair skin), but enough that next time I'd buy the tinted version (even though it's more expensive for the amount).Overall I'm willing to put up with the slight white for high quality and high protection.(For those saying that it's too greasy, while it's not the most matte one I've tried, as someone with oily skin it does indeed feel a bit greasy when first going on, but give it time, it does sink it a lot, just takes a while).
