It does not go on easy and doesn't stay in place.
This is very difficult to get on. Once it is on is does not stay tight and keeps turning and doesn't stay in place. Sorry I bought it. One more thing, it did not hold my cane. The top part of it did not come out far enough. So my cane did not fit into.

Bolt head not slotted for screwdriver!
The nuts and bolts fit into recesses. The nut is held into recess for the bolt to be tightened. Because the bolt also fits into a recess it cannot be tightened all the way with a wrench. Had to buy bolts usable with screwdriver. BAD.
