Cheap, quality cable
Got this cable for my home theatre setup, despite it saying for car systems. Had it for a couple of months and it has been working absolutely great, exactly same quality as my old cable which was much more expensive. It is safe to run in walls and in ceiling space such as I have done. The long distance goes a long way and prevents me from having to buy more than one reel at a time.

Works fine.
I read some reviews that claimed this cable is too thin for HiFi use. My speakers are 10 watt 4 ohm and driven with a 40 watt amplifier and the cable works okay. The cable is no finer than the internal wiring of the speakers and I don't think anyone would be driving their speakers or amplifiers to anywhere near their limits. It may be too thin for professional PA equipment where the amplifiers and speakers are rated at 100 watts plus and driven quite loud but I think for most HiFi systems it will be fine. For me the advantage of it being so thin is that I can route it around a chimney breast/skirting/marble hearth by pressing it down under the edge of the carpet so that it cannot be seen. For this reason I intend to replace the thicker cable on another system which uses a 40 watt amplifier and 25-125 watt speakers.

Value for money and easy to use.
I needed wire to connect speakers to my secondary hi-fi that sat atop two built in cabinets either side of the fire place. The wire had to snake up out of a cupboard on the right, where my wife had allowed me to install the amp, CD and turntable passing through trunking up past two book shelves and then through moulding and across the picture rail bridging the chimney breast to the other side of the room to supply the second speaker where the wire had to go through more moulding - so a journey and a half! I also need white covered wire to disappear if on sight - as it happened I was able to do the job without the wire being seen! However I also needed flexibility that thicker speaker wire doesn't provide to make the tricky route out of sight. The wire is thin but I am listening to the first album through my vintage 8 ohm Celestion 3 speakers and it sounds pretty good to me!

Very thin for hi-fi speakers
13 strand means 13 fine copper hairs in each cable. It is too thin for most hi-fi systems. Most of the other cables I browsed in amazon are thicker but they have an aluminium core with outer copper layer, which means they look thicker but have the same resistance as much thinner copper wire. They are not good value for money. If you want to pay a bit more and get the cheapest yet nicest quality pure copper wire I recommend you go for QED 79 strand. It's not available here but you I got 20m for 40 quid elsewhere and you are guaranteed real quality for life. Just search it.

Great speaker cable
This is really long cable and was a perfect replacement for the existing cable with several joins in. Now speaker works fine and sounds great.
