Harry Potter Locket Horcrux Kit and Sticker Book (Harry Potter (english))

I think this replica is very nice for the price and it's affordable. Overall the locket looks plastic, but I feel that's easily noticeable from the pictures. The "silver" parts are matte/not shiny plastic, while the front and back "gems" are glossy plastic. The chain is metal, so it's best not too pull it too hard or the plastic where it is looped around could break. There isn't much room on the inside of the locket which is flat, but there is just enough to, say, put a small R.A.B. note. By the way the locket does not come with anything inside, so you'd have to make that note yourself. I might add here that this locket is probably the fake horcrux locket from the book, because the real horcrux locket is supposed to have a green emerald S for Slytherin. Now the FUN part! I had some fun with the "gems": there didn't seem to be glue holding the gems in place, so I placed my thumbs to the center of each gem and gently pushed it back into the locket while opened. [SPOILER] When the gems came loose I could see each gem consists of a translucent olive-coloured dome over a flat silver plaque with symbols and scribbling in black. The front gem has a design with 3 stylized snakes at the center, some rune-like designs, and some small writings I couldn't decipher. The back gem has lots of small scribbling and at the center it appears to say "Salazar Slytherin ab Aeternne", I don't think that Latin is correct but that's what the writing looked like under a magnifier. [END OF SPOILER] I won't include pictures so as not to spoil the fun for anyone who wants to try it out. If someone deciphers more of the scribbling please share with me ^-^ The parts comprising the gems snap back into place in the locket frame without any fuss, but I'd still advice care so as not to wear out the plastic fittings from doing this with too much force or the wrong way. It's pretty easy, though! Overall: fun, affordable, a lovely replica for a small price!

I love the mega minis, perfect set of trinkets to give my Potter mad daughter for christmas. I've got a few so far which will be fab displayed in her Harry Potter themed bedroom and will encourage role play games as well as being decorative and the stickers are great also. Ideal stocking filler for a fan and the right price.

I bought this as more of a novelty display item, but when it arrived it felt much more like a toy than a collectible replica. That said, looking back I think that's probably more down to my expectations than the product itself, as it is marketed as a kit rather than a premium display piece. In the end I passed it on to my niece, who really enjoyed it and was very happy with it, so it clearly found the right audience. Overall, younger Harry Potter fans will probably get far more enjoyment from it than collectors looking for a display-quality replica of the locket.

This was a present for an 8 year old girl, she seemed to like it. It's a bit plasticky, but I expected that, so overall pleased. Paola

This locket is absolutely brilliant, I had originally bought the more expensive replica one that you can find on here as a gift for my partner but had to send it back as it was made of plastic and was terrible quality for the £36 price tag. I then bought this as a little joke gift until we could find a "proper" replica, but I have to be honest I still can't believe how good this one is. It looks like the more expensive one, slight difference in the pattern on the front and doesn't have any green felt on the inside but other than that it's the pretty much the same, except that this one actually has a better chain :D Only downside is the sticker book which isn't that great but after the disappointment of the expensive locket I REALLY can't complain about this one especially considering it's tiny price tag.

Considering this little locket is 10x cheaper than the proper replica, it's not a bad item at all! The locket actually opens, there's a surprising amount of detail on the outside and the chain is pretty sturdy (and is metal, not plastic) - what more do you want for the price?! If you want a real replica, you have to pay for it! My daughter and I have been really pleased with our purchases from this line - this one and the Time Turner are especially good quality!

I have purchased several of these little Harry Potter collectables for my daughter and have been pleased with them and can't wait for her to open them on Christmas day, but this one I don't even know if I am going to give it to her. It is a decent size but that's about all there is good to say about it. The box it came in is nice and it has one of those small picture books in with it the the locket itself is plastic and looks very cheap and tacky the 'stone' in the middle that has the Slytherin symbol is very dark so it is difficult to make out what it is supposed to be. You can open the locket but there is nothing inside it. All in All I am very dissapointed with this purchase, if the locket had been made to metal it would be a lot nicer.

If you're like me and don't want to shell out upwards of 100 dollars on something that has no practical use other than being a prop, then I recommend this. I don't really care for the stickers much, but consider them a free gift that comes with a really cool replica. Yes, it IS plastic, but when you hold it in your hands it really feels pretty substantial.

Ich bin ein riesen Harry Potter Fan und wollte mir zum Geburtstag eine Kleinigkeit holen. Der Horcrux von The Noble Collection war mir etwas zu teuer, weswegen ich mir diese sehr günstige Alternative geholt habe. Es ist MEGA. Der Horcrux hat eine Kette aus Metall und das Stück an sich ist aus Plastik, jedoch ist das absolut okay. Das Design ist sehr schön und es lässt sich sogar öffnen! Das Stickerbuch ist auch Klasse, coole Sticker dabei! Ich kann es für den Preis jedem Harry Potter Fan empfehlen!
