I wanted a PAYG sim, mostly to set up whatsapp and a few other things on a phone/number that is not my regular number used for business and family. It was a great price, and one of the few contract-free PAYG sims now available. It was easy to activate/register. BUT, at best I get one bar signal in my house and that is only for a minute or two each day. Most of the time the phone signal shows no-service (although of course I do still have wifi via my router). According to the giff-gaff website, I should have full coverage at my postcode (ABxx) . My main phone is on EE and although the signal strenth never shows more than 1-3 bars, I am always connected, in any room. My house is not built of thick granite, in fact all the internal walls are plasterboard. I have tried the giff-gaf sim outside and the signal still shows as very weak, or no service. If I put the EE sim into the same phone I get a strong signal outside. Strangely I also have a PAYG sim from O2 directly, and that gives me 4G signal throughout my house, in the same phone as the giff-gaff sim. (I say stragely, as perhaps I do not understand the ins-and-outs of mobile carriers and sharing). Annoyingly I already added £10 to my giff-gaff account, as they make it very difficult to register without either signing up to a monthly plan or immediately adding credit. This is now largely useless to me. Disappointing from Giffgaff. Avoid this Sim.

Very fast delivery to Southern Spain (Malaga) and exactly as described. Last week my Moto G2 (running on GiffGaff) failed so I ordered from Amazon UK a new Moto G5 Dual Sim phone for delivery to the campsite where I am currently staying near Malaga. Discovered that my old Sim did not fit my new phone which uses a Nano sim. Ordered a GiffGaff Tripple SIM Card which was delivered today. I followed the instructions in the documentation to go to the GiffGaff website and select option to move my existing GiffGaff number and account details to the new Nano Sim from the Tripple Sim Pack. Within 1 hour, my existing number had been ported to the new SIM and my new Moto G5 was up and running on the Spanish Movistar network. You cannot fault service like that, especially as GiffGaff is a UK service provider, and I am sitting in the sun in Spain. Painless!!!!!
