Recommended product if you don't need high-end performance

This review is not comparable to those from websites dedicated to hardware review. Because this product is so old, it will appear to perform very poorly when put against newer products, even those from a few years ago. But it remains a good purchase for people with modest needs.I bought this product after looking for a "good enough" replacement for my previous Nvidia graphics card from 2013. As I don't play games on the computer, I was not interested in a high-end model. My important criteria were price, power consumption, and Linux-compatibility.This card satisfies all of them. Its price is reasonable. It consumes little power and is also quiet. And it is fully compatible with Linux. Its installation in a Lenovo IdeaCentre PC was straightforward, and it worked with Windows 10 and Linux without any driver-related problem. Under Windows, for more control, you are advised to install the latest driver package directly from AMD website, but doing this is not essential. In conclusion, if you want "just a graphics card" to replace an older model, this product is a safe purchase.

Good.

Used it to build my first pc.Am not a tech expert so won't comment on every technical detail but for me, everything was straight forward to add to the mother board and it is working just fine.

Sapphire Pulse RX550

This is a great graphics card, especially considering the price. It has zero problems running any game I throw at it on high / ultra settings.I actually purchased two of these cards to run them in a crossfire configuration with a new motherboard, however unlike the description, there is no compatibility for this which I was pretty disappointed with. Nonetheless it is still a great graphics card for mid ranged gaming!

Good quality budget card.

Bought for a new PC build. Running Linux so I specifically bought AMD. Previous Sapphire card I had was very good and reliable but was over 10 years old, so I was well overdue for an update. PC is not really for gaming (nothing more taxing than the odd game of Minecraft or KSP) so this card is just fine for me.The price I paid (£200) was over the top though - should really be under £100, but with the current chip shortages I had to pay a premium. Looking at the price today (£248), I guess I'm lucky I got it when I did (a few weeks ago). The card is virtually silent and is fully powered from the PCI bus so no need to route any extra VGA power cables - which is nice. All in all I'm quite pleased with my new card (would have been very happy if i had purchased it at normal prices).

For Light Gaming

I've had this card for almost three years now and it's still going strong. I'm not much of a gamer anymore, but, as a brief guide to its capabilities: it's great for old games (from my experience) such as Half Life 2, Left 4 Dead 1&2, Dirty Bomb, Outlast etc. It can even handle The Long Dark, coupled with an FX 6300 (tested on current system) 40 to 60 fps. As for modern multiplayer games, it might struggle, even on low settings. I can't verify that though.I really don't think it's worth its current price, I purchased it at £82.32. The current price is too much for what it can accomplish. Since we're all moving on to Ryzen CPUs, that might make a difference when paired with this card. I can't confirm just yet - will edit.If you're not into modern GPU/CPU intensive games, you won't be disappointed with this card. I used to have a GTX 1050 which I gave to my daughter, it was just overkill to me.Final opinion: if you're not into hardcore gaming, this is all you need.Edit: now that I've got PCIe 4 motherboard with a Ryzen 5 [4500] CPU, I have noticed a slight performance boost. So, go for it with the above review in mind.

Useless cooling

It is awful, over heats even at mid-stress.
