The volume is really good, you can choose whatever suits you and your baby. I didn't believe I can cope with sleeping with it on as my LO has her crib in our room for now however, it actually is soothing for me too lol and blocks off dad's snoring a bit! It has a lock on option, so once you set the volume and the sound you like (choice of 3) you can press and hold for 3 seconds both the S (sound) button and the Shut down/Turn on button and it locks in place your choice of volume and sound (also very good setting for later on when you are having some inquisitive fingers of baby lol). It also has a warm light led that can be turned on by double tapping the Turn on/Turn off button. It really is a fantastic product! You charge it with the USB cable it comes with and it's good to go for 8 hours. I personally have it plugging in overnight next to my LO's crib, so during the day it lasts with no issues. It has the plastic ring that is easy to attach to anything you'd like, car seat, pram, cot as well as it's easy for you to hold it in your hand while rocking baby. In comparison, Ewan the sheep deluxe is too quiet and it is a hustle to reach the settings as they are under velcro. I got the sheep gifted to me so I'm really glad I didn't spend the money on it because it is no good for us.

I have used this machine every day since in purchased in June 2020 and I think it is great. It’s portable (I use at home, on the buggy and give to the Nursery to use for nap time), and the sound level and different noise options are just what I wanted. I’m leaving a review now as I contacted the seller because I thought the machine had broken as I couldn’t turn the sound off. Other people have mentioned the same so I assumed it had broken but they replied straight away and explained it may be in ‘lock’ mode and how to unlock it, which worked. I’d assumed the worst based on reviews and was completely wrong and really impressed by their customer service. Would highly recommend.

I have purchased several of these. The first one is still going strong more than two years later, and if I were just reviewing that one I'd give 5 stars. The problem started with the second one which I purchased for my second child. After only a few weeks of use the unit was impossible to turn off. I saw other one star reviews that showed this is a known problem but it proved impossible to get it replaced through either Amazon or Marpac themselves. Perhaps stupidly some time later I bought another because the replacement white noise machine I'd purchased instead had a really unpleasant quality to the sound. Anyway after a few weeks this one did the same thing. If you let the charge run down, you can use it again, but eventually the same thing will happen again. I had hoped I just had one faulty unit but I'm afraid perhaps something changed since I purchased the first one and now they're not reliable. It's a shame because other than this it's perfect. Great range of volume and the deep white noise is a more pleasant sound than some of the more scratchy sounding ones.

Having used this for a few weeks now with my newborn I can absolutely recommend this product. The white noise works a treat at calming both me and baby down for sleep and is easy to use, has lots of options, can have sound adjusted and doesn’t switch off after a short default time like other white noise toys. I have used a few in the past (Euan/my hummy ) and this is the best for sure! Do not hesitate. If you are after a white noise machine then buy it! Love the rechargeable aspect too so you don’t need batteries and can easily pop in to charge. Very small and lightweight and easy to transport around and has a little ring to conned to anything you need. Wonderful product! Well done!!

Really like this product, it's not a magic bullet or anything like that but it really helps block out background noise in my very open plan house. Also love that it's portable. Only issue is I can only turn the night light on when the machine isn't plugged in, we leave ours plugged in all the time and for some reason the light won't turn on. It's no big deal just need to unplug turn the light on and then plug in again, it can just be a pain to do when holding a baby. But still worth the money.

Very useful and does the job. Had an issue where no button would work and so had to leave it to run out of battery to reset it. Luckily this worked and now it is functional again... battery insane- it seemed to take about 36 hours to die!

I was quite sceptical about getting this one given the price but gave it a try looking at the reviews and I have to say I am not disappointed with its ability to keep external noise out of babies reach so he can sleep longer and better. And honestly, because I have it on the bedside crib, it’s right next to me and it has helped making my (a new mum’s) sleep quite deep too! An added plus! Before I bought it I was playing womb noises from phone which was a mix of heartbeat and other pink noise so I wasn’t sure the static (non heartbeaty) sound will help but it did.. Pros - helps sleep better, keeps external noise out, love that it’s usb charger and charges fast and lasts long enough (we charge once in 2 days and never run out of battery). I also liked the size and the way it looks. Cons - honestly, I still think it’s expensive for what it is. Also, the recommended white noise level for babies is 50db and this goes upto 80db I think so the sound volume to keep is a guesswork, not ideal..

I don't often write reviews but I wanted to share my experience with other sleep deprived parents. I think over the last year I have bought most white noise products on the market for my baby. We have Ewan the dream sheep, my hummy, lulla doll. None of these compare to this product! All of the others I have tried have failed as either the batteries run out in the middle of the night or a nap causing bubs to wake-up or they just aren't loud enough to block out other noises or they turn themselves off after a period of (usually when you need them most!). I was using my kindle with a white noise app playing during all naps and at night so I knew white noise definitely worked for my bubs. However, this meant I never had access to it when I needed it as it was always being used to play white noise. Also, it seems to be killing my battery because of so much heavy use - a very expensive white noise product! So, in the hopes of getting my kindle back I decided to try this product and it is a life saver!! I have it plugged in all night so there's no risk of the battery running down. The volume options are great as you can have it quite loud (obvs not too close to bubs ears!) and it really drowns out other noises. For daytime naps the battery doesn't run out as long as it's plugged in over night. It's also very portable as it's so small and can be hung on the pushchair whilst out and about. My bubs has just started nursery and was napping poorly without white noise so I take it in his bag and the staff love it as it's helping other kids get undisturbed naps too! If you know white noise works for your baby then this is definitely the one to buy - it'll soon pay for itself as it's fully rechargeable so you're not spending a fortune on batteries. Here's to more peaceful nights sleep for us all!

I have a new habit of sleeping in white noise and this Totally works , change it every alternate night to make it work for 8-10 hours a night

Marche très bien le son a plusieurs niveaux! Très efficace sans des ondes négatives pour la santé du bebe!

Semplice, intuitivo, e ricarica che dura più “passeggiate”. Lo usiamo ogni giorno per il sonnellino pomeridiano nel passeggino. Unica cosa da stare attenti : ha batteria NiMh, e quindi soffre del “effetto memoria” se non si scarica e ricarica completamente. Basta che lo usate finche inizia a spegnersi da solo ed andate sul sicuro. Top

A mi bebé le ha sido de mucha ayuda para mantenerse dormido durante casi toda la noche. El tamaño es muy práctico por lo que puedes llevarlo en la carriola o donde sea. A veces toma varios intentos el encenderlo, pero nada grave.
