I bought these pencils to see what they were like and I wasn't disapointed, you can do your drawing and if you make a mistake it's easily rubbed out with it's own little eraser on the bottom of the pencil. I have used these as an underdrawing, the colours good and you can layer with Derwent. A good buy. Faber-Castell 12 Erasable Colour Pencils

I use these for base drawings for overpainting, or simply just to colour sketch. The rubber ends are good enough, but an ordinary rubber is more effective and an electric eraser even better. Colour pay off is good for being eraseable, and even with a heavy hand can be erased sufficiently although the darker shades will still stain the paper - which is to be expected when flattening the tooth of the paper. No issues with lead breakage so far.

I bought this as an alternative to the prismacolor col-erase, mostly because they're hard to find for a decent price in my country. And these seem to work just fine! If you lean too hard, they don't erase completely but that's true for even graphite so that's no problem! I love these for adding some colour to my sketching and use them alongside my watercolours too.

I bought these specifically because of their erasable feature and I wasn't disappointed. The rubber on the end of the pencil erases the markings until only a very faint hint of colour is left, barely perceptible. I used another Faber Castell rubber and it worked better, but the ones on the pencils are fine as well. Definitely recommended for the quality of the pencils and for those who need to erase mistakes or make notes on borrowed books.

I bought these because I couldn't get the Prismacolor col-erase shipped to my country. I've since bought the legit col-erase and honestly those are better than these Faber Castell erasable pencils. Still! These are pretty nice and do what they're supposed to do. The col-erase have more pigment and feel more like a proper pencil. These have a waxy texture to them that I don't love.

Bought these pencils because of their affordability, wanted some erasable coloured pencils so that I could do base sketches and then line them in ink and rub out the underlying sketch. Generally they do the job, they do erase decently, but be wary of hard pencil strokes as they won't rub out very well. However, a main issue I have is the breakage when sharpening, it means you lose a lot of pencil lead which is terrible annoying. I haven't used col-erase pencils, but I might try them after these to see if I prefer. Would suggest a light hand for these and if you find breaking lead irritating they're not ideal. Overall an okay product for the price.
