Williams Racing APL1009 Waterless Wash Wax Kit, Set of 2

Miracle is an understatement. Been using different products over the last 20 years and finally decided to try Williams Racing. A bit like the legendary Damon Hill and Nigel Mansell this product puts you on pole position! Effortless and brought my 1999 paintwork up to literally off the production line quality. Will never buy another product again. Leaves no marks if using in a straight line and the shine I had to literally put my sunglasses on to save my eyes! Neighbours will be in awe! Absolutely incredible product; thank you Williams!

Tried various makes of this type of product before with mixed / disappointing results so I was a little sceptical even though the reviews are pretty good. At £15 for two 1litre bottles I decided to give it a try. Wow! Results are fantastic. Best car cleaning / polishing solution I have come across. I decided to wash my car first to get the worst off with a quick jet wash shampoo and rinse. I gave it 15 minutes to allow most water to run off and then set about applying the Williams spray. It doesn’t take much, it goes a long way when rubbed on with a moist cloth (2 supplied). As you apply it you can see the watermarks disappear with moderate rubbing. Dries quite quickly and unlike some products polishes off extremely easily. I did a panel at a time and gave it a final buff up with an electric polisher. If you get any on the glass no problem, comes off with ease. I suspect you could use it as a glass cleaner but I haven’t tried that yet. It’s not effort free but it is light work. I did my medium sized SUV in just over an hour. I rinsed the moist cloth out after each panel. Final result was amazing. Very pleased. I highly recommend this product. Finally I reckon I used about 150ml so I expect to get 6 treatments per bottle.Well done Williams. I won’t be using anything else.

I have used several differently branded waterless products and this one was fine and did the job as described. A star dropped because it is much more expensive than other brands tried for doing the same job of cleaning the car and making it shine with relative ease, and certainly at a greater speed than using the wash and then wax method. With all these waterless products though I am not thrilled with the effect it has on the windscreen.Even with serious rubbing off it can be smeary in certain light conditions. I am going to revert to a specific car windscreen cleaner.It is much thicker product than a lot of others which you may or not prefer. Best to spray directly onto a cloth as it delivers a fierce line of the product (even when the nozzle is adjusted).You might however enjoy the delicious kudos of the Williams Racing name sat in your cupboard or in your hand, (flashing it to the neighbours/ passers by) whilst doing the weekend chore .. In which case buy buy buy !

Use this a lot to clean car and caravan, especially when no access to water.

I bought this product on Saturday late afternoon and by Monday morning it had arrived, that is excellent speedy delivery. Now with regards to the product itself, I had been aware of waterless cleaners for a while but was sceptical about how good they would be. It was only by chance that I was at the in laws over the weekend and one of them showed it to me and used a bit on my own car. I ordered it pretty much on the way home. I used this product a couple of days ago and it is truly fantastic. I cleaned my car which was fairly soiled having spent the weekend in the country, and it took only about 20 mins to do the whole car including the roof and windows. I have a large people carrier so bigger than most. It got the dirt off so easily that it was ridiculous, even the grease on the hub caps came off with a wipe. It left the car so shiny and even several days later it still looks shiny and clean and to be honest I hardly used much product as it seems to go far. I often like to clean the car before going on trips and away at the weekends and now I don't have to quickly pop to the car wash on the way to have it done. I can do it myself, quicker and give it a much better finish so now I am a total waterless cleaner convert.So glad I purchased it and will be sure to again.

Product easy to use. Good value. A lot cheaper than car wash every week. And it does a good job.

I don't have an easy option of getting water to the drive so it is not possible to wash my car at home. I am not a fan of auto car washes so it stayed dirty. Having been asked by a friends small child why my car was always dirty i have been shamed into action. Being naturally lazy and definitely no petrol head an easy solution was required. Whilst channel surfing I came across a demo for this product on a well known shopping channel. Surely it's too good to be true? Sceptical? YES! But it wasn't expensive so I decided to give it a go. Well I am a convert! This stuff works a treat and is incredibly easy to use. I have cleaned my car more in the last 3 months than in the preceding 7 years. Its even quite enjoyable. I've done the complete car (VW Golf size) 8 times and not even used half a bottle. Takes about 15 minutes if its really dirty. After each clean I just give the micro fibre cloths a quick rinse to get rid of the lumpy bits then chuck them in the machine on the 30 min cycle. Brilliant. Highly recommend. Worth every one of its 5*

Like others, and as a fan of the traditional snow foam and 2 bucket method, I was extremely skeptical about the effectiveness of this product but decided to give it a go. I tackled my wife's WHITE Audi which had not been washed for two weeks. To be fair it wasn't filthy but it had a layer of road grime on it. It was also wet from the overnight mist. Product sprayed on fine and with a wipe of the supplied cloth, the grime did wipe off BUT being a white car it was more smeared than lifted off altogether, so I needed to go over the panels again. To be fair, when I wash the car I usually have to do each panel twice to ensure all the grime has gone so wasn't 100% surprised but was still disappointed. Areas around the badges, grille, handles do not come up as clean as they have done normally when working product in with a soft brush, so time needed to be spent here. I am still not convinced this method will not do harm to the paintwork however; I'm sure that by wiping in one direction, rather than rubbing in a circular motion coupled with a light touch will limit any potential damage. The car was "cleaned" in just under an hour which is probably a third of the time I usually spend on it. My car is grey and I've yet to try this on that but grey does hide grime better so the result may appear better on that car. In conclusion, I will keep this in order to give my cars a midweek spruce BUT would not rely solely on this as my main cleaning method.
