is it actually mechanical

No this keyboard is supposed to be a mechanical feel keyboard. I bought this for a friend and tested it before I sent it to him and it feels nothing like mechanical. I compared this to a few Corsair Cherry MX mechanical keyboards I had laying around. They feel more like a rebranded dell keyboard with backlighting and a thinner design. This feels nothing like mechanical at all.
