African Pride Shea Butter - Leave In Conditioner - 425g

Wonderful leave in conditioner. It melts into my strands and hydrates them beautifully. It’s creamy yet not greasy. It’s light weight and pleasantly fragranced. I’ve been buying it by the shed loads since 2020, for me and my daughters. Between the 5 of us it’s a consensus that it’s our favorite leave in conditioner. We have type 4 hair, ranging from A to C with two high porosity, two low porosity and one medium porosity. It works splendidly for us all - we just vary the quantity and frequency of use.

I have tried all sorts of products on my hair to try to improve its condition, My hair was incredibly damaged and was dry, frizzy and rough. On the first application I slathered my damp hair with this, put a plastic bag on top and left it for a few hours. My curls have never been better. They actually have shape now, as well as bounce, without the crispy feeling you can get from some products. My hair is so soft and the smell is fab, it remind me of holidays. Ordering more to make sure I don't run out. If I could give it more than 5 stars I definitely would!!

I was looking for a leave-in conditioner to hydrate my hair, and decided to give this one a try amongst several others. This is what I found: -LIKES-------1. The aroma of this product is literally "sugar and spice and all things nice" - It is fruity and sweet!!2. The consistency is thick and luxurious.3. It softens the hair nicely.4. The price is great.DISLIKES-----------1. The product does build-up in the hair, so use sparingly.2. May cause the hair to look wet.CONCLUSION----------------Overall, I like this product although it does build-up if too much is applied to the hair. I have actually found that applying it to wet hair before drying is a better way to experience the benefit of this leave-in conditioner.

I swim everyday! So I was looking for a conditioner to put in before I put my swim cap on! Found this product! It's amazing & does the job! Protects my hair & leaves it soft & not damaged! Very good product

I'm a type 3a/b curl, with very thick, dry hair that knots easily and is very difficult to untangle. This has made a real difference - I use it on wet hair after washing to give some much needed extra conditioning and it really helps to tame and untangle my mane, leaving me with soft, and (almost!) manageable curls. The trick is to not use too much, and to really work it through the hair, then its a dream. If you use too much it does leave a residue and can make hair look a bit dull and greasy. I also put a bit on the ends of my hair between washes (and use a bit mixed with water in a spray bottle) to protect the fragile tips and calm the frizz. The tub is huge, and will last me a while as I only need a little product each time. The fragrance is strong, kind of tropical fruit. It's pleasant but might be a bit overpowering for some. I'm now looking at the styling products in this range too.

It's not heavy on the hair which I considered a good thing but it does not work well with other products, the flaking was so bad.It smells so good

Love it.I'm Irish with thick hair.I've tried other leave in conditioners. Nothing made any real difference, until I tried this. It feels silky and keeps its style without using a hairdryer.Would definitely recommend for anyone with thick hair,
