Kids/Toddler 7.8" Silicone Straws with Stoppers | 8pk

My daughter bites her straws and the plastic ones that come with the metal tumblers bend and break. (See attached picture) These silicone straws are wonderful replacements. Durable material, easy to clean. Cute vibrant colors. The little stopper in the middle of the straw keeps her from yanking it out of the cup. (Picture shows length of straw when inserted in 12 oz kids tumbler, touching the bottom) One of the straws is a little bent. The lid was closed on it when inside the shipping box, so it’s not perfectly straight. (Also pictured) But I don’t see that affecting the function at all.

They are exactly as expected. Quality and thickness is better than some brands I have purchased in the past.

I bought these as replacement straws. My brother has dementia and bad tremors, and so has difficulties with drinking from a cup. I had purchased some cups that had a good, tight fitting lid with a straw. He lives in a memory care facility and so all eating/drinking utensils have to go through the dishwasher. The plastic straws that came with the cups were not dishwasher safe and melted. Also, my brother chewed on the ends of the straws causing them to flatten . The staff at his facility love these silicone straws. They are dishwasher safe. They fit snuggly into the hole on the cup lid and the stopper prevents him from pulling out the straw. He can chew on the ends of the straw without causing damage, and he can flex the straw as needed.

I love these straws. They are thick and flexible. They fit perfectly in my elk lids.

I purchased these replacement straws for the glass cups I gifted my granddaughter last year. Now she has a little sister who just learned to use a straw and I knew having extra straws on hand would be helpful for my son and daughter-in-law. The glass mason jar cups with protectors have been the best for my toddler granddaughter and lasted longer than any other toddler cup she tried previously.
