Glorious lead solder, dont even mind the solder headache
I've tried to be environmentally conscious but lead free solder just doesn't cut it. This solder is fantastic for the price. I've used it in several circuits now including smd, and the solder flows well.As for an indication of puriry. There is a strong solder smell (easilly removed with activated carbon filters) and the tin slag visually appears to be better quality than other budget brands suggesting less impurities.Conductivity wise I've had no problems at all.

Thank youLead.... yes I know it's bad like nice food, doinging over 70mph and to much saltBut soildering and Lead wire cannot be touch... because it melts at a MUCH lower temperature it's that simple

Great for soldering. I used it on top of copper tape for my crystals. very very pleased and will be coming back for more.

Top Quality Solder
This is the best leaded solder I have used, and believe me I've tried a few. It draws well and has a lower melting point than anything else I have tried. It also has a generous amount of flux in it too. Ideal for begginers.

Forget chinese solder, this is what you want
I've tried several top sellers from the major chinese websites and thought they couldn't all be bad, I was just bad at soldering.Turns out, solder is one of those things you can't be cheap about. I suspect their solder is meant for "good enough" mass manufacturing, not for "I'm a picky hobbyist". I can't stress enough just how much better this is to anything I tried before: it melts easier, flows better and forms shiny round joints every time

Solid 60/40 solder, with 1mm diameter ideal for smaller jobs. Rosin coated rather than cored, seems to result in less rosin content of the solder wire. If this is a problem you might have to use flux separately or use different solder wire.

Good product.
Top grade solder on this reel. I prefer this gauge as the thinner ones just get consumed so quickly in the applications that I require to solder.
