When fitting a rocker cover do you apply to both surfaces or just the head.

We use it regularly on our tractor puller which has the rocker cover off every month or so during the summer. We find it best to put the silicon onto the decreased rocker cover then let it go off for at least an hour then attach rocker cover to a greased head, this way we can remove multiple times without fuss of peeling and replacing silicon as it stays firmly adhered to rocker cover . If you glue it down to both the head and rocker cover degreased it will definitely seal well but won't come off in one piece next time .

How long does it take to dry

Touch dry after about an hour, left it on for about 3 before I drove the car to be sure.

Can this be used on a car water pump upto 20psi? How long does it take to dry once metal surfaces are bolted together?

i build jag engines up using this & no problems best to leave for 24 hours if poss, have also fitted water pumps to later jags & used car straight away all ok GW

Is good to make a sump pan gasket, resistant to oil and high temperature?

Would recommend it to anyone its is brilliant even put it on exhaust joint and it don't get any hotter than that!!!
