Discovery Channel - Bug Barn

The pictures don't do this product justice. The items are all sturdy and well packaged inside the box. We had great fun catching bugs and looking them up online. I bought this product in the hope it would not only help educate but help him with a serious bug phobia, it worked. He now gets excited when he see's a bug and wants to watch it, ask questions and find out what it is. We have had many wonderful conversations about insects including when it came time to release a butterfly that was nervous. It was lovely sitting down and explaining to him how frightened it must be and that it needed time to leave. He then asked if it would help if we put it in a quiet part of the garden so we did. We checked later and it had happily flown away. We have hidden the tweezers as we think that could end in a few dead bugs, you can't expect a child to be truly gentle with them. The little jar is magnified which is brilliant for getting a better look at beetles etc.

Bought for our little boy who loves it, we take it out and he finds all-sorts to put in it, great for the little explorer. Speedy delivery and good value for money

In reality this is just a lot of plastic packaged up as a science kit but the kids really do love it. My daughter (nearly 5) is big time into bugs and my son (nearly 3) follows her lead. It really enhances our weekend woodland walks and keeps them both interested in foraging for bugs rather than asking to be carried! They get a real thrill in seeing the bugs magnified and there are plenty of items in the box so there is no arguing over who holds what. Overall a good piece of kit and cheap when measured against the joy it brings to my children.

My children play with it in the garden and in the house. It’s helped my child overcome her fear of spiders in a gentle way.She also plays with it to catch her hatchimols and fairy’s and other small toys.It has helped with home schooling to view the insects close up. A brilliant toy.

Our 5 year old grandson has used it every day from the moment he got it. Well made and so far, durable. The birthday gift was chosen to coincide with a school project on 'minibeasts' so it was greatly appreciated and added to the educational experience. He also had great fun using it.

Not worth the money.

Oh my goodness, my Grandchildren absolutely love this. So much so, that they had to take it home with them and I had to buy another one. My daughter says they were out in the garden with it constantly and still love it. It's well made and definitely worth the money.

My friends little girl has really got into making little bug houses in the garden, looking forward to giving her this for christmas so she can continue her interest in bugs. Good way to help kids get over any fear they may have or inherit from cowards like myself, the merest hint of a spider and i'd leave Usain Bolt for dust!

Está bastante bien conseguido, no parece un plástico barato y de momento está durando. Las compuertas de la jaula se aguantan bien. Las lupas son de relativa buena calidad. Mi hijo de 6 años lo disfruta mucho.

Bello ma niente di eccezionale. Trovare lo stesso kit non brandizzato ad un costo decisamente inferiore. Tempo qualche mese e dovrò sicuramente incollare qualche pezzo..
