Can you set your stride length into this pedometer and how easy is it to do so? Some reviews suggest you can't do so. Thanks

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,The product works perfectly. And you can input your STRIDE length for accurate distance walked/run. Unfortunately, it was realized that a few of the MANUALS ask for height input, instead of STRIDE input.(Most of the manuals now say stride instead of height). - If you have the manual with the typo, then kindly input your STRIDE/STEP LENGTH in place of HEIGHT. Enter your STEP LENGTH/STRIDE by first selecting inch or cm using the MODE or RES buttons. Then press SET and enter the numerical value by pressing MODE or RES, then press SET. (Average Step Length/Stride= 70cm/26inches for women, 78cm/31inches for menShould you select inch, the subsequent units automatically used will be Lb for the weight option and miles for the distance traveled. Should you select Cm, the units will then be Kg for weight and Km for the distance traveled.HOW TO MEASURE STRIDE LENGTHCorrect Step Length/Stride distance is measured from the tip of your foot/heel to the other. To measure the correct average Step Length/Stride distance, divide the total distance of 10 steps you have walked/ran by the number of steps (10). Note: For simplicity use the averages stated above.Otherwise, calculate the Step Length/Stride distance in the following way:Example: You walk 6.2 meters, 6.2m (total distance) /10 (number of steps) =0.62m (62cm)Input this figure, and your pedometer will always be accurate.Hope this helps.Sissi

Will it work, hanging from a cord around the neck and will it still be accurate. Keep loosing them clipped on my jeans.
